I am a high schooler in California. Well I guess you could say I don't really have a life but that's going to change in 6 months (I just got my permit). I run on cross country, babysit, and I'm always in love with someone or the other<3:). Right now it's this super smart guy who is in ap chem. I love all kinds of music (when I say love I mean music is my lifesaver) except some rap songs, and metal and emo. I kinda go through phases. A few months ago it was the doo wop phase; then the 80s phase, and right now, the taylor swift phase. I hate it when girls gossip. I actually do a lot more stuff - RAAP club, Art club, girl scouts, but right now that is occasionaly. So I have 1 goal right now: getting a b on a ap test. E-mail or answer my questions if you have tips.
Should I tell him I like him even though I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me?
We've become pretty good friends, and met up for lunch/happy hour frequently. Then I came back to college, and we've stayed in touch even though we're in different states now. We Skype and email every once in a while. I know he really likes and cares about me as a friend, but I'm pretty sure that's it. Would it be bad to just tell him anyway, even if I'm not expecting anything to happen?
4 AnswersFriends8 years agoMy friend keeps forgetting to reply to emails?
So I used to think my friend wasn't really interested in being friends anymore. But then he e-mailed me. I e-mailed back the same day, and didn't get a reply for 3 weeks. So I sent a short message saying "Did you forget about this, lol? Or did I say something that bothered you?"
But he replied two days later explaining that he'd been thinking he'd already replied.
So I replied to that the next day, and it's been almost two weeks... What should I do? Should I just forget about the whole thing? He used to be one of my closest friends, and I kind of miss being able to talk to him.

Lol, I go to a women's college, and miss talking to guys. I know this is a weird request, but I'm looking for guys that would be willing to e-mail? College-aged?
1 AnswerFriends10 years agoTrying to find a Pen pal: any gender, ages 18-26?
I'm trying to find someone that would like to e-mail on a regular basis. Maybe once a week or every other week? I'm from CA, but currently go to a women's college in MA. I love all kinds of music and strange books. I love funny people!

One of the brothers writes to a girl who lives overseas. they fall in love, and she comes to his house, thinking the letters were from his brother. There's the whole love triangle. She says something about him being "the wrong brother" or something. I think it's about 6 years old, maybe older. It's very artsy, dramatic. What movie?

I wear monthly disposable contacts, and take them off at night. I want to try the daily disposable ones, but I'm worried they won't be as comfortable. Have you tried the daily ones? How do you like them? What brand do you suggest?

I only remember a few things. It was like The Sound of Music. The nanny falls in love with the kids' dad. He's very rich. The movie was set in some foreign country - France, maybe? She had black curly hair that was always tied up. They get married, but she's still unhappy. What movie?

The most important quality I can contribute to Bryn Mawr is my determination. I have the ability to set a goal and then focus on achieving it, since I believe that all achievements are mostly a matter of willpower. Other qualities include my open-mindedness. I love to hear fresh points of view on topics of all kinds, and compare them with my own. This is one reason that I love being on the debate team at my school: I gather all possible arguments for one side of an issue, only to have an argument completely invalidated by an opponent because of his or her different definition of a word. Since I like to hear all of these different perspectives, I am good at finding them, so I would bring new viewpoints to the college both during classes and during normal conversations. I have a strong desire to promote fairness in wherever I am, which is why I want to pursue a career in law. One last thing I can contribute is a sense of leadership, which I have acquired from a combination of being a camp counselor, participating in Girl Scouts, and being Vice President of Art Club. This combination of determination, open-mindedness, and optimism makes me a good candidate for Bryn Mawr.

4 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agohappy songs newer than a decade old?
I noticed that I've been listening to too many songs about unrequited love, and that might be contributing to my depressive moods. What are some happy, cool songs that I wouldn't have already heard? They don't have to be fast. Don't say songs that I would know like Taylor Swift or Jonas brothers or Lady Gaga.
