Need help reinstalling OS-X Leopard on an E-Mac (G4)?
Several months ago I installed the new OS-X Leopard OS on my 2003 E-Mac and it has been running fine. I am selling the machine and want to erase everything so I decided to reinstall the OS and thus, get a "clean machine". Now, when I put the installer DVD into the drive, it prompts me to click and restart the computer but during the restart it ejects the DVD so it never gets around to reinstall the system. The DVD appears OK (checked it on another computer) and the drive worked fine - what's the deal here ?

My Mom is 80 and her 20 year old electric typewriter is on the blink. She hates computers and I wonder if there is no device that combines a keyboard with a small screen so she can write letters and then print them out, either on the device itself or by adding a printer.
