  • Oven Heating Element Burned Out.?

    2 nights ago, I was preheating my oven when I heard a loud pop. I opened the oven to see the heating element was glowing bright in one spot and sparking. I turned off the oven and it continued to spark for 3 more hours and the burning traveled through most of the element.

    1. Is the stove top safe to use until I get the oven element fixed?

    2. Is this as simple as just replacing the oven element?
