hi, just trying to plan my excercise to burn off tomorrows meals.

how many calories does 25 situps burn? a 10 min run? a 1 hour walk?

I've liked the same person for over a year now, we used to be friends and we still talk, but we're not close any more. He has a girlfriend, and one of my close friends is all heartbroken over him, so just announcing i like him isn't good idea.

I'm tired of watching him and wishing, i just want a way to get over him.

i know its a waste, and they're just trying to get you to advertise. but what is the most you can find out from a truth box? is it just age and gender? or do they do anything else?

im currently in Australia, and i would really love to go uni in america or canada (ive always wanted to study overseas, and america seems like a good place to live!) i realise Australia has a better education system, but im going to sit my TEE here, and then go to uni in the US hopefully.

i want to study psychology, can i do that in the US? can i do it at any university?

also, the big one - how much will it cost? in Australia we have HECS, where the government pays for uni and we pay them back in installments, but do they have that in america? how much will it cost? ( i will be most likely boarding as well)

also, if i get my qualification there, will it be recognised in Australia?

and how is university decided in america? do they have to get a certain score in exams like we do? and will my TER score guarantee me entry?

hi, im going on exchange to america next year. At the moment i live in Australia, and i go to a selective, gifted and talented music school. I was wondering what happens with music students in america?

what happens with lessons? at the moment mine are in normal school classes, i just get taken out of one class a week to do a horn lesson instead. My lessons are private, and we dont have to pay for them. i hire a horn for about $70 through the government, like most people. we do music for four periods a week (aural class, choral class, Lit class and theory class) and we have written and prac exams at the end of every term.

my school has four wind bands, three orchestras, about 7 voice ensembles and a whole bunch of smaller bands and ensembles (string quartet etc)

we are expected to practice every night, for at least 20 minutes.

whats music like in the US? someone said its really uncool to do music, is that true? will my school have a good program?

how often will i do music? will my lessons be private? do i have to buy a horn or is one provided? what kind of things will i be doing in class? do thy use solfa and the same techniques as us? do they have the same ensembles we do? im currently in year 10, year 11 next year, but i was thinking of skipping a year just for music, because im obviously going to be ahead in music (because it was an extension school, my current school works a year ahead of most)

if i try and fail, can i be charged?

please no counselling or anything. i just want to know, hypothetically is it illegal?

if depression is just a chemical imbalance, why does it usually surface after something makes you sad?

no other instrument, has to be french horn.

u see, i have just done the most stupid thing ever, and put the wrong slide on the wrong thingy. to get it off, i took off all the ones around it.

now i not only have a slide stuck, but 3 slides and 3 holes... but which goes where!

Okay. SERIOUS panic time.

i was cleaning my horn, (slide grease etc), and one of the slides got stuck. to get it out, i took out two of the others, and now i cant remember which bit goes where!

well, its now 7:47 PM. i have 12 pages of work due on friday, but we got like, 3 days to do it.

should i do some now? or concentrate on my music practice (aka myspace)

what are you always doing but never realise? what do u always do thats unique to you?

i stand on one leg with the other one sitting on top of my other foot. im not sure why, i never notice im doing it.
