So, last night, I gave my girl-friend (who I have feelings for, and have told her about them) a particularly intense hug, and she growled at me, so I growled back. Bystanders said that it was a rather sexy moment, do you think that means anything?

Also, she had broken up with her boyfriend 23 hours beforehand.

I understand that there may be a psychological reason behind this, but if I have a camera, and take a picture of myself in a mirror, I look "normal", but if I look at a photograph taken at the same time, without using the mirror, I look like an entirely different person, at least in my eyes, with a lot of my physical features being greatly distorted.

Is there really any major difference between the images, or is it just a result of being used to seeing myself in a mirror as opposed to the "correct orientation"?

Quite often, for no apparent reason, my hands become extremely cold to the touch, but they don't feel cold to me. This seems to be completely unrelated to physical activities and the weather, and many people have commented. Very rarely, my hands get so cold that anything I touch feels white-hot, but that goes away within a few minutes. Any ideas why this could be happening?

In the short story "the scarlet ibis", at the ending when Doodle died, I know what happened, and why doodle died, but what could have been the actual cause of death. Was the red nightshade significant or was it just a heart attack from overexertion. Not sure why I really care, but I've been wondering.

I bought this laptop back in May '09, and it worked fine for about a year. Occasionally, it would need to be restarted, but not often. More recently, it works fine for a few hours then suddenly slows down, after every restart. The CPU usage is extremely high once it slows down, getting up to 95% sometimes, even when the task manager is the only thing running. I have run many antivirus/malware programs, and an infection seems highly unlikely at this point. It's a sudden change, one minute the computer works fine, the next it's barely usable.

No matter how many reasons/ examples I give him, he won't accept the truth and I'm worried that he's stupid. Please help.
