I heard something on the radio this morning about something unusual happening, but I went into work before I could hear anything else. Was anyone there or hear anything?

What is your opinion on this? I am under the impression that if you pass below the yellow line when forced, then you can improve your spot. If Smith was in the lead and say for example, Dale Jr did exactly what Smith did today. Do you think that they would have ruled it differently? I would be willing to bet that in that case, jr would have been doing donuts around the track.

As if the younger drivers that arent on the super teams dont have enough to worry about with staying in the top level of racing, and sponsorship, they get jipped out of a win. NASCAR messed up today...ON THEIR OWN RULES!

I am from Pittsburgh and all I know is that the Pirates are horrible and currently have a ten game losing streak going. Has anyone lost more consecutive this year? Hopefully maybe we can muster up one record this year. lol

You complained for the last 3 games about not getting any calls...well looks like the NHL is helping you out today. Just like they helped out Dallas last night.

I will start off by saying that this really isnt a question but just wanted to say that I am a Pens fan, and even if we sweep, the Flyers deserve a lot of respect. Going from where they were last year to where they made it this year is remarkable. The Pens would probably say the same thing. Quit worrying about who is crying more and enjoy the game. Calls are made, whether you think they are good or bad is all subjective. If the Flyers are done next game, then kudos to them, they had a heck of a year and made it a lot further than a lot of people expected them to. If the Pens sweep, then well done Pens. Once again, not a lot of people thought that they would be in this position so early in their young careers. Should be an interesting Stanley Cup final regardless...what do you guys think?

At every intermission they kept saying how great Philly was playing and showed highlights of their hits and goals. How about giving the Pens some respect and showing our hits? Show us getting in the Flyers' faces. I am absolutely disgusted with how they handled the game tonight. Enblom or whatever his name is should just wear a Flyers jersey with a huge Philly logo shaved into his mullet.

Jr had that race won, and Hamlin finally blew a tire and definitely could have gotten off of the track before a caution was needed. That in turn caused the field to bunch back up and cause the racing incident that took out Jr. If anyone should be fined it should be Hamlin for throwing the caution for his teammate and basically crying in his car...again.

Had a good run today in 6th place and blows up. Is it time to give up on DEI and move on to another race team? The guy has a ton of talent but not sure if its going to be able to fully show at DEI. If JR left and its his own families company, should Truex read the writing on the wall and move on? I'm thinking that it is time.

If this pace keeps up, not many. Closest guess to the correct number wins the points.

I left the room and just saw them interviewing Truex. If he did, how many wrecks has David Ragan caused in his short career? It seems like every week he is taking somebody out, and this week there were two potentially good cars in Truex and Busch.

Anyone else think that this race is pathetic so far? Phantom cautions and 11 cars on the lead lap. Horrible.

How Jordan Staal of the Pens is? He went out in the first period and they really havent said much about his injury.

I heard a lot of the teams were saving their tires because they have a limited amount. What is the meaning behind this?

Now they are bringing the heads of the NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL, Horse racing and every other sport known to man to talk about steroids in sports. I for one, do not believe that athletes should use performance enhancement drugs, but doesnt congress have anything better to do than to drag this issue on and on? Leave it to the different leagues to decide punishment and rules on the issue. What do you guys think?

Not sure how many Canadiens fans we have here but did anyone else find the move to get rid of Huet a little odd. I know they have a great up and comer in Price but could this be a bit early to jump the gun especially with the playoffs just around the corner. I know the young goalies have a learning curve in the NHL, such as Fleury in Pittsburgh, so just wondering if anyone else thought this move was a bit early?

Does anyone else find this utterly ridiculous?

If the race was to end right now, Jr would be 21st in points. I know they still have some racing to do but with the condition of his car, I dont see his standing after CA to be much better than that. Its still early but obviously not the place he was hoping for after 2 races. What do you guys think? Too early, or a sign of things to come?
