So, I took a bit of French back in school, but it s been a while. I was hoping to get someone to spellcheck them for an online story. Here they are:

I'm looking for something new and good to read, length isn't a problem. I like reading about dragons, but they aren't a requirement. I will read anything with a good, well-developed plot and good characterization.

I'm a huge fan of: Tolkien, Lewis, Pratchett and Gaiman.

I'm making an original character which will be a part of a fictional universe, inspired by Persia. Hence, I'm looking at Arabic and old Persian names for her.

A little information about her: She's a strong-willed and defiant healer, who studied outside of her country and in, learning both traditional and official healing methods. She comes from a notable family, as close as one gets to being a noble without being born one.

Her sisters' names are: Parvaneh (Butterfly/Like a butterfly) and Laleh (Tulip)

Here is my list of possible names and their meanings, straight from our favorite search engine:

I'm writing a Bleach fanfic and I've hit a dilemma of how to write the 2nd Division Captain's name. So:

When reading a Bleach fanfiction which do you prefer to read?

Suì-Fēng or Soifon?

I'm looking for a sweet and cute shojo manga to read in between studying to relax. Anime or a chill TV show works as well. Anything that you find relaxing will do.

So, I'm writing a story and want it to be believable science-wise. Now, there is this island which has mist around it all year long. Sure, in the winter it would be thicker, but it is still present all the time. The question is, how would that be scientifically possible to make?

I've been reading up on fog, mist and haar and I figured that it could be possible to have an island like this if there were volcanoes nearby?

The seasons for the island are meant to be regular, all four of them present with snow in the winter and warm weather in the summer (not necessarily vacationing conditions, but warm enough for a T-shirt) There are also marshes on one side of the island.

So, I've been reading up on the matter, as I'm trying to write a story which happens during the Chūnin Exams (in Konoha), but about the happenings in Kirigakure. The problem that I'm not sure which Kage is appointed at that moment.

Here are my current findings:

Yagura created the Bloody Mist, which is referenced with Zabuza and Haku. The graduation from the Academy with two shinobi fighting to the death is during Yagura's reign and it is abolished after Zabuza kills his whole graduating class at the age of 9. After that, Zabuza escapes the village after a failed attempt at the Kage's life and then he is next seen at age 26, when he dies.

In Shippuden, it is said that Mei Terumī is a fairly young Kage, but not as young as Gaara. This led me to believe that she is either elected before or after Tsunade. If it is after, my problem is solved, if it is before, I still have a dilemma.

Anyways, I'm hoping that someone can help me out.

Hello! I really want to be a responsible dog owner, so I'm trying to consider everything before getting a dog.

Here is my current situation:

I'm a student who is often at home (4-5 hours in class max). I have my own room (medium sized) which the dog would be able to use to sleep and hang out in during the day. Also, we have a small fenced-in yard where a dog house would be made.

Dog exp:

I took care of my friend's Labrador a couple of times (lovely dog, but tires a bit too easily) and the routine that I had with him was the following: 30-45 minute walk in the morning before class (with fetch at the park where he would tire out), some playing during the day (mostly problematic because he wasn't allowed in the house at my friend's place, hence I had to be consistent) and then an 1-2h walk in the evening with brushing every other day or so.

I would be able to adapt to the following:

I don't mind the drooling, the shedding (but not too much) or the barking (moderate amount)

I would be willing to go on weekends to get them proper exercise (going to the river, to a bigger park etc)

When getting a dog first (I would prefer a puppy), I would be able to take time off to get the pup settled in (4-5 months)

Expenses aren't much of an issue

What I would like to do with the dog:

Play fetch

Teach tricks

Chill on the couch

Groom him

Ride my bike and take the dog along (roller-blades too) etc

I really like retrievers and am considering the Toller breed right now :)

I had this brilliant idea of cosplaying a character that I can do a belly dance routine with. In the end, I am stuck between Nefertari Vivi and Boa Hancock. But, deciding that is the easy part. I am worried about which music to use?

Should I use a soundtrack from One Piece? Or use a drum solo song that I like? Or maybe another popular song? An artist with a good rhythm like Miyavi perhaps?

Any ideas?
