  • For KC who asked about a female friend of hers?

I'm married, BUT I like her a lot. I don't know if she is a lesbian or bi?

I haven't been with another woman, but I have the hots for her. She almost seems like a guy, but I don't know if she is. Now what?

Do I ask if she's bi or a lesbian or just keep quiet? I'm ready to say goodby to my marriage for her. She says we're like sisters. I don't feel like a sister. I have other feelings for my friend.

    Here is your answer:

Wow, you're in a ticklish situation.

How long have you been friends with this woman?

Do you have no idea of her dating practices?

Has she not mentioned going out with this person or that?

And when you say she seems like a guy what do you mean?

Is she just a little bit butch?/sportie?/what?

    Does she have a swagger?

Does she open doors for you or anything even remotely like that?

There are 3 way of handling this situation:

    1) You could be honest and come clean directly.

Tell her you are attracted to her, you have affection for and not like a sister, you are attracted to her in a physical way and that you have been afraid to mention it because you didn't know how she would respond. You are concerned that your friendship would be put in jeopardy if she were offended by the confession. And while you are afraid of damaging the friendship you feel you must be honest because it's starting to eat you up inside.

    2)You could try a ploy. . .

You could tell her you have met a woman you are attracted to.

she might ask who before you get another word out.

    Ignore her question.

Ask her if she is horrified that you have these feelings for another woman.

She will likely answer yes or no and then repeat her question.

    Ignore her question again.

Ask if she has ever had feelings for another woman.

If she says yes, obviously the door is open you can then tell her that the woman you described before is her.

    3) You could just kiss her. Just lean in and kiss her softly on the lips. Hold the kiss until she pulls away or parts her lips.

She will either respond positively immediately or she will ask, "what are you doing?"

Her body language when she asks this question will tell you where she is at quite readily.

If she pulls away and wipes her mouth and raises her voice. . .that's a bad sign.

You'll have to apologize and do some major back peddling.

If she remains close and asks the question softly she is receptive but a bit surprised.

You must also remain close and say you have wanted to kiss her for a long time and suddenly you just couldn't stop yourself.

Then lean in and kiss her again.

Still softly, let her passion rise to yours.

From there you are on your own.

I think we can let nature take it's course.

The dialog I have given you above is not intended to manipulate but rather it is where I think you are coming from considering the information you have just given me.

I spent several minutes collecting this info just to find the question withdrawn.
