  • Am I alone in feeling uncomfortable seeing LGBT community involvement in a corporate office?

I work in a normal, large, corporate organization (fortune 500 company). During the "Inclusion and Equality Month" we talk/read/discuss accepting disabled people, minorities, and ... lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, and transexual people, in our company and treating them as equals. I'm fine with that and have never treated anyone differently in a professional setting. However, I feel very uncomfortable with the LGBT community being considered in this catagory. I get it, homophobic bullying and all that - but I don't do that. So why is it important to share with the world you sexual orientation. I don't care who you love or who you choose to have sex with or if you were a man once and now a woman. If I need you to submit a report I will ask you and expect that report on my desk on Monday morning, non-the-less.

  • Bullies or mental illness in second grade?

My son has three boys in his second grade class that constantly misbehave. One of them flips tables and appears to suffer from some defiance disorder, the other has ADHD and has severe outbursts, and the third is physically violent and verbally abusive due to his upbringing. We call it bullying because they abuse our son and the other children in the school. The principal says they are special needs children and seems to protect them. How can the teacher educate in a positive environment? How can we keep our son safe as the board is always protecting them?

  • My wife refuses to trim her pubic hair - 70's style. It is unattractive. How do I tell her that she needs to do some regular maintenance?

No secret. I like women that are shaved nicely down there, preferably a landing strip. I am not asking her to get a Brazilian. Just trim the bush down a bit. I do the same regularly. It makes it more appealing in my opinion. Also when there is a bush I find the scent to be somewhat offensive.

  • Do we buy this house?

My wife and I want to buy this house in the perfect location and the perfect layout. It is 20 years old and needs a little maintenance (we have the money for it) but otherwise it is perfect. The only problem is that a few houses down the same street (close to 100 homes) my wifes X-boyfriend used to live. Apparently abusive as she has very bad memories from that house. So the only reason she doesn't want the house is because of those bad memories. We already did a pre-inspection of the home and tomorrow are going into the offer presentation. But she still doesn't want to buy just because her boyfriend used to live there and she has really bad emotions/memories from that house. She feels she will be reminded of him each time she walks by. We even went as far as to find out if his parents still live there which they dont as they sold the house 8 years ago. What do you think?

  • How to deal with friend causing trouble between my husband and I?

My husband and I were at a party at this friends house. My husband was tired and wanted to go home but I wanted to stay a little longer. My husband displayed his dislike of the situation and raised his voice to sternly say he wants to go. My girlfriend saw this and walked over to my husband while I was not standing there and asked him if I help around the house and with washing the kids? My husband said the truth which is that he usually washes the kids. So my girlfriend told him with me not hearing that if I maybe washed the kids more often I would also be in a rush home. That sounded like she was looking to cause problems between us. What do you think?

  • What's the difference between watching a 46" TV from 6 feet away and watching a 3.7" LCD from 1 foot away?

If you close one eye and put them one next to another, at the distances described in the question, they are the same size screens. Am I missing something?

  • What do you think about hot daughters?

The other day I saw this smoke'in hot chick walking down the street. She was amazing at a-whole-nother level! Then I see her walking into my neighbours house! She was his daughter! So my question is, how does a father or brother deal with that? Having a SUPER hot daughter or sister walking around the house with those long tanned legs, hot pants (with possibly a thong or NOTHING underneath) and goergous breasts. Basically an overall amazing body. Does it not bother them when she walks out of the shower with just a towel? Or they catch a glipse of her putting on her underwear or bra? Can you really say they are not attracted to that? What if they didn't realize it was there daughter or sister? Wouldn't they be attracted to her? I know this is a weird question (possibly creepy) but I am not a sleeze-bag. I just don't have any experience in this area (don't have sisters) and want to know what goes through their minds.

  • What do I tell my wife?

My grandmother just passed away. I have been distant from her daughter (my mother) for about 9 years after we had a huge fight. I just called the lawyer and was advised that I am inheriting some of her estate. But only under the following conditions:

    1. If I divorce.

    2. If my wife dies.

    3. If I am in a bad financial situation.

    4. When I reach my age of pension.

I am shocked. Do you know what this means for my wife? What my grandmother and mother think of her? What they think of me? My wife and I have a beautiful marraige and a beautiful 2 year old son... My grandmother just showed me that she had conditional love for me. That I can receive her money only if I am not married or retired. With no consideration about her great-grandson. What does that mean about my grandmother and my mother influencing her?... I feel like s**t. And worst of all, I don't know what to say to my wife. This would destroy her mentally, that my family thinks so little of her and of me... Am I f**cked?

  • Is an American will generally legal in Canada?

I noticed a lot of will kits. Most of them are geared towards the US. Are these kits generally legal in Canada as well?

  • What is the purpose/result of rapping your forehand follow through over your head?

What is the difference between Nadal's forehand that follows through around your head, Federer's forehand which is more commonly seen, following through around his torso? Unfortunately, I have begun imitating Nadal's forehand and the results are not good. I had to go back to the basic follow through around my torso so I am just wondering what is the point of Nadal's follow through around the head.

  • What would happen if Israel opened it's boarders?

What if the army left all of the gates and military posts unattended? No more boarder control would exist with the various Palestinian villages. Would young Palestinians enter Israel with bombs and try killing as many people as possible? Or would they no longer have a need to since they were no longer confined to Gaza and the Territories. What if they could just get a job anywhere in Israel, and a car, and buy food anywhere? Would they throw it all to hell and kill as many people as possible or would they try to live a normal life. This would probably never happen because Israel wouldn't risk their land and people. But don't you need to take risks in order to reap rewards?

  • Should the Israeli government destroy the home of the most recent terrorist attacker?

If you didn't hear yesterday there was a Palestinian who drove a bulldozer through the streets of Jerusalem and killed 3 people and injured 70. One of the things Israel used to do in the past were to destroy the home of the terrorist so that his family becomes homeless. Do you think this is to easy or to harsh of a punishment considering the terrorist is already dead?

  • Should I stay in touch with an old friend?

We used to be close like brothers. Then he did something stupid (got between me and my new girlfriend who is now the mother of my first son). We had a big fight. I didn't speak with him for 8 years. My wife hates him. Now he emailed me to make amens. Should I get back in touch with him and see if we can become friends again?

I am aware that things will never be the same. We were also a lot younger. Now we are in different places in our lives. And we live on different continents. Is there any reason at all to be in touch with him other than the old moto of not having any regrets in life?

  • Do you think Roger Federer will retire in the 2012 Olympics?

As you may know, the Olympic Games of 2012 will be held in London, England and the Tennis portion of the games will be held at Wimbledon. In some recent interviews Federer mentioned that he was looking forward to the 2012 Olympics particularly because they are going to be in Wimbledon. He sees it as a milestone of his career if he can get there and win. In 2012 he will be 31 years old. Do you think he will he go out with a bang?

  • Would you go traveling to Italy with a 6 month old?

My cousin just emailed me that she is going to Italy with her husband and 6 month old baby for a week vacation. We told her she's nuts. But she doesn't understand the concept of relaxing and obviously is unaware of the logistics of traveling with a baby.

  • Why does grass grow freely in parks, and sidewalks but I have to spend $100s each year to keep my lawn?

It annoys me that each year I need to water, fertilize, triple mix, over seed, de-weed, etc. and it costs me $100s of dollars a year to just to HAVE grass! I don't want a freakin golf green! But in parks, sidewalks, and other public places, grass isn't taken care of (just mowed) and it grows freely! No fertilizer nothing! WHY?

  • Why is Federer losing so much?

I have a theory. Ever since he started prancing around Sampras and showing off at those "Federer vs. Sampras" events. Sampras is a past legend. I have a feeling that some of that is rubbing off on Federer and he is starting to see himself as a "legend" which will inadvertently end his career early.
