I've just split up with my boyfriend after a 7 month relationship. He swept me off my feet to begin with, bought me an engagement ring, planned a future with me forever. He did, during our time together, blow hot and cold with me, one week he'd be loving and attentive, the next cold and distant. The last few weeks of him being cold I found too much to cope with (being very sensitive) and I have now ended our relationship. I think part of me hoped that by ending things he would come to his senses and return to the loving man he was. But I've heard nothing and I'm hearbroken. We're not kids (I'm 35 & he's 44) & even his closest friends have told me it's HIM and not me. I'm sure now he'll never come back to me but I love him so much I have a pain in my chest. I want it to go. How can I feel better?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 months. We've had a bit of a whirlwind romance, he proposed to me very early on in our relationship and discussed living together etc. He couldn't bear to spend a night apart... to begin with. Now, although we still spend most evenings together I get the impression he is cooling towards me as our weekends together have become non existent - last weekend he avoided my calls and texts. So, I suggested we spend less time together - in case he feels I am taking up too much time of his - he doesn't want this! I ask him if he wants to split up - he says he loves me and doesn't want us to end. Now I'm starting to sound like the nagging girlfriend - but he's confusing me so much! I do love him to bits but I don't know where I am with him.

My boyfriend of 4 months ended our relationship by email, even though he lives a mile down the road and we've had a very close relationship, seen each other every day, and he proposed to me, bought me a ring and threw a big engagement party! All the reasons he stated for us not working in the email seemed to be things which had built up throughout our 4 months together - insecurities I never knew he had as he's not the talking type. I was devastated, phoned him and asked him why? Said I love him - he said He loved me too, but lots of things going on in his head. Next day I decided I would go and see him and return his door key and the ring. He seemed very happy to see me, said he loved me to bits and didn't want us to split. He wants us to carry on as normal. Now I'm confused. I love him but I'm such an insecure person I'm anticipating another 'Dear John' Email.

If I am renting a house from my ex partner, who is also the father of my son?

My boyfriend loves F1 and I would like to give him a gift of driving a F1 car for christmas. Does anyone know whereabouts I can arrange this and how much roughly I can expect to pay? I am in the UK (Wales). Thanks.
