i'm technically due on march 3rd...according to my u/s, doctor and LMP calculations so i'm not worried about that. but i signed up for a couple of pregnancy websites that give you week to week info on the progress of my pregnancy. each website tells me i'm at a different week (i'm 8 weeks but some sites email me saying, "you're 7 weeks now!" its confusing!

i have really thick and dark body hair as i'm south asian. i normally shave but the hair grows back really really quickly and then its hard to shave right over recently shaved skin. i have tried all kinds of wax in the past but my skin breaks out into hives almost. i don't think its a reaction to the wax, but to the process of waxing and ripping out the hairs. i'm also allergic to nair.

does anyone have suggestions??? i can't do laser etc right now as i'm pregnant. but this hair situation is getting me down b/c i'm taking prenatal vitamins and the hairs are getting out of control. sorry, TMI, but at least i'm trying to do something about it.

has anyone else been told this? i'm having an ultrasound tomorrow. the OB said it could be normal or twins or a molar pregnancy. i'm really, really scared.

this is my first pregnancy and i'm skinny.

i had really really bad nausea when i was on the pill for the first three months and then it went away. i recently got pregnant and am now 6 weeks. but i have absolutely NO nausea. isn't that odd?

i just want to make sure that i don't have a blighted ovum or something that is making me not have any symptoms. 3 HPTs were positive and we were TTC so its not a surprise...but i am confused since i have no other symptoms besides sore breasts and a missed period.

so i told my father that i'm pregnant with my first child. i'm very close with my dad. he was visiting my husband and me for the weekend and my mom is out of the country and won't be back until september. he has had a really rough week at work and had a long drive to our place. but when we told him, he literally just gave a small smile and kept staring at the laptop that he was working on. i thought that maybe he didn't hear me so i reapeated it...and he still was like, "yeah, i heard". he didn't say congratulations, didn't hug me, i asked him to get up and hug my DH so he did. but then he went right back to the laptop as if nothing ever happened. i'm 28 and so is my DH. we're both professionals, own a home and have been married for 2 years...so its not like we're did anything wrong. i just can't understand his reaction. we even took him to niagara falls as it was a celebration trip and he asked me about the pregnancy ONCE. isn't that very ODD!what do you think is going on?

i'm 6 weeks and really really want to tell my parents this weekend as they will be in town (they live far away) and i want to tell them in person to see their reaction and happiness, but my first OB appt and ultrasound won't be until next wednesday. i'm super close to my parents. what do you all think?

at how many weeks did you tell your family about your pregnancy? and then how was it when you told them about the miscarriage?

i'm on the skinny side to begin with, so was wondering when people start showing. i'm 5'4" and 107 lbs.

just curious as i'm almost 6 weeks but don't have any nausea. not that i want it. but was wondering.

i was told that if you're skinny, they might do an abdominal ultrasound and that if you're heavy around the belly, then they might do a vaginal ultrasound.

if you had your first OB visit at 6-7 weeks...could you tell me which one you had done? and also if you're heavy, normal or thin?

i'm super close to my family. but my mom is out of the country and will be for another month or so. i'm planning to tell my dad and sister as well as my hubby's parents next week when i'll be 6 weeks. i will tell my mom over the phone - which sucks, but there's no way i'm waiting until august to tell my mom, of all people.

so do you think 6 weeks is too early to tell immediate family? i know i can trust them not to tell anyone else.

i want to know if others have had this symptom. i'm seeing my doc in over a week for my first appointment. i'm not rushing to the doc. b/c i don't have any bleeding or spotting so i'm hoping this is just part of normal first trimester symptoms.

i'm almost 5 weeks pregnant and about a week ago when my period was due, i started having cramps (like period cramps). they occur any time, but are more noticeable at night. they sometimes wake me up. its like a dull, gnawing pain (very much like my period cramps but mild-moderate).

i have NOT had any bleeding or spotting. i don't have any other symptoms like nausea, fatige, or sore breasts. i know i'm pregnant b/c a) we were TTC, b) the HPT was positive (3 of them) and c) i've missed my period by a week and its very regular otherwise.

i'm seeing the ob-gyn on july 9th.

i'd appreciate your answers.

i'm just over 4 weeks pregannt and i have occassional abdominal cramps during the day...they are very light. but sometimes at night, they wake me up and make me sweat a little. it reminds me of period cramps. is this normal?

i don't have any spotting or bleeding at all. this is my first pregnancy.

i'm not a professional photographer. i just want a really good quality camera for family events (like my pregnancy, baby pictures, weddings, etc) and occasional amateur work. i've heard that canon is better...but is that quality difference only for professional photographers? i don't really want to spend more than $800 on a camera+lens. canon is probably out of quesiont then , huh?

one stick was a digital one that said "pregnant" and another was a regular one and was a positive sign. we are trying to conceive. i just want to make sure that its not a false positive b/c i have no symptoms at all and my expected period date is not until tomorrow. should i wait until tomorrow, check with a different brand today, or just go to the doctor (not sure how long it would take me to get in). i just want to know for sure!!!

i'm TTC but not sure if i have PCOS. i have no symptoms of PCOS except that i have a lot of body hair (on face, legs, arms, toes, fingers...sorry tmi, i know...not proud of it). having said that, i'm also of indian descent (as in from the country india, not native american)...and some of the women tend to be hairier...but not as hairy as i am...i think.

my periods are super regular, i'm skinny, no diabetes or sugar problems, and my cholesterol is perfect!

but, i have this fear that i have PCOS b/c of this hairy situation? anyone know what the deal with PCOS is?

please give me specifics of your symptoms, not general symptoms to expect.

also, give me the week according to your last menstrual period, not days post ovulation.
