I just bought a new Macbook Air that has 4 gb of ram and I believe 128 gb of memory. When I go into the Activity Monitor, it tells me sometimes that I have less than 1 gb available to use. With that being said, I do play Diablo 3 on this computer and it gets warm and pretty loud, which I think is normal, but I'm not sure. When I minimize Diablo 3 and check that Activity Monitor, I barely have any more RAM available.

When the whole 4 gb of RAM is used, what happens? Does the computer just run slower, or what? I don't know if I should be playing Diablo 3 on this computer if it says I have way less than 1 gb of RAM remaining when I minimize the game. Should I continue to play on this computer, or is it a big deal when there isn't much RAM remaining? I don't know what happens when the 4 gb of RAM is used up.
