Hi!

I have a new tank for my hermies, a three ft glass one with a lid. I am using a large exo terra heat mat which is 24 x 28cm. I have the salt bath and the normal water dish with sponges which I am having to top up several time a day. The digital hygrometer is measuring only 50-57% and 20 degrees but the tank is sopping wet, after only a week the sand is very wet. I am leaving the lid open 3-4cm on each end to try to dry it out a little. Whats going on?? I am still pretty new to this, am I missing something?

Any help would be appreciated! I love my hermies and want to get it right!

I am interested in any contempory artist who uses elements of origamy, origamic architecture, pop-up etc as an integral part of thier practice. In fact any use of paper as a 3D medium which does not involve mashing it. They don't have to be very well known, as long as they have a web presence of some sort so I can have a look.
