If I had the opportunity to give a message or advice to everyone looking for happiness and solitude, it would be simple. Smile, be nice and decent to people and care about their feelings because it will usually come right back to you immediately. On the times that it isn't automatic, consider it as insurance because, it will be returned. Some time, when you least expect it or find yourself in need of some kindness, it will find you no matter where you are at in the moment. "Be good to one another always and the hate in the world will vanish but continue to quarrel and a life full of strife will surely follow, so; remember that happiness likes a good time."

  • Need help signing in to yahoo mail?

Have forgotten password and security information is long forgotten or out dated. No alternative email address was used so what do I do? I originally used security questions as my back up for forgotten info but am not given this option for accessing my account and naturally I remember those answers. Is there another way?

  • Can you explain gravity and centrifugal force?

If we are prevented from flying off into space because of gravity and gravity is a constant from pole to pole and the earth spins at 1,000 miles per hour at the equator, please explain why people at the poles aren't glued to the planet from a lesser centrifugal force?

  • Is it possible to have a cactus growing inside a human body?

No, I haven't actually lost my mind ... yet, although the debate with a friend on this subject may change that quickly. So, here are the details. While gardening a while back, my friend accidentally brushed her arm on a cactus which left many cacti thorns in her skin. The pain turned to some inflammation and scarring and some three years later has yet to fully heal. She believes the thorns are somehow reproducing under her skin as being the reason, I say, not a chance. All answers are welcomed so tell me, should I always wear protective clothing around her or has she misunderstood the way a cactus grows?

  • What can be done about CPU usage?

I've started playing these games on Facebook by Zynga (Hidden Chronicles, Cityville, Farmville) and my computer literally dies when I play because of the CPU being pegged at 100% constantly. It is not the newest system but I am running a Pentium 4 (2,600 Mhz) and have 2 Gigabytes of RAM but that isn't enough. I'm open for any suggestions and Thanks.

  • Help with print spooler issues?

I had a Lexmark printer installed but decided to use my HP printer instead and so I uninstalled the Lexmark and that is where the problems began. I have lost all print spooler functions which means that I cannot install any printer at all and the service will not re-start. What do I do?

  • Gateway Audio/Video drivers?

Gateway E4000 desktop with Windows XP being upgraded to Windows 7 and even with the original factory driver disk, I have no sound or audio/video acceleration. Installed ATI video card and Creative Labs audio card and still no sound. Naturally, Gateway is not interested in helping me remedy the problem. Have tried several different download locations but there seems to be a force field around my computer because nothing helps. I've just installed a PNY graphics card and have picture but little difference. I am also being told that I am not the administrator so I'm wondering 'who, is the Boss' because I have a few questions. Any suggestions?

  • What are the Legal consequences?

If a person is physically attacked and uses normal means of defending themselves and their attacker dies, is the victim suddenly the guilty?

Here is the situation: A known PCP addict attacks someone and physically assaults them causing a few injuries and the only way to end the beating is escape. Finally free, the person calls the Police to report the Battery and the responding Officers find the assailant dead and the victim is taken into custody but not charged with a crime. Could the victim be charged at some point? Any legal advice you can offer?

  • Clarification on AGP graphics card?

I'm stumped. Gateway P4 model MFATXPNT has passable on board graphics and sound but I have a few Creative Labs audio and several ATI video cards. I'm okay on the sound end but the video is baffling. As I mentioned, it is an AGP graphics port and this is the best way I can think to describe it so keep an open mind. The slot on the board looks like this: ______ ____, ( There is the tail catch)

The graphics cards look like this: ______ ____ ______, (with fin) and lines up correctly in the slot but will it work? I do have an ATI Rage Pro Turbo that is an exact fit but it seems to old too be effective. Grateful for any input.

  • What is the primary reason behind the Global economy fail?

Can we blame it on Socialism? Should we say that Communists have ruined the world? Perhaps Marxism or the Nazi's had something to do with it all falling apart? The Monarchy has been around for thousands of years and although their servants usually remain subservient, can a King or Queen be held accountable for a world crisis? It could be G.A.T.T or N.A.F.T.A. or Capitalism or can it be the whole Democracy idea that finally screwed it up for every body? There are, really, three possibilities that are left. If none of the others are responsible, then it must be: (1) That an Aboriginal or Native curse did it, or (2) Aliens from another planet or (3) The Banking Industry. My question is who did it and what do we do about it. Thanks.

(By the way, the lame answer of "a combination" or "there are many reasons" or even, "it is something that happened over a long time" won't qualify. We know these things so get to the absolute quilt for your response)

  • Does she choose family, Boyfriend or Principles?

At a Birthday party a few nights ago, my male friend told his Fiance` that he had cheated on her in the past. If that weren't bad enough, he said that the other (much older) woman was better looking. They fought and separated. A pre-planned Thanksgiving Dinner with him invited should have been off but Sister re-invited him even though 'she' didn't feel conformable being there with him. Sister in mineralizing issue and wants plans to stay the same. Should my friend go to the dinner and feel bad or not go and make her sister angry. Fiance` assumes her attendance will mean the fight is over and all is forgiven.

  • Apple Ipod is stuck on "Do Not Disconnect" page ... forever ! Any Help?

Once again, I find myself with a friends device that is having problems because ... ? Anyway, he brought me his Ipod 1.3 5th generation and a USB cord to attach it to my computer. He said, "It won't start". Here is what I've done : Installed an unknown amount of iTunes stuff and plugged the iPod into a USB port. First, the iPod begins with a page saying something about a system restore and then something in German. Meanwhile, iTunes is telling me that I cannot use it until the restore is complete and I haven't touched a thing. Next, the iPod starts to flash, "Do Not Disconnect", and nothing else. Eventually, a notice from iTunes appears asking if I want to restore, I click 'Yes" and it restores. This has happened five times now and no change.

Besides the obvious fact that my friend it torturing me, what is wrong here?

  • . Do you want to live in a world that is void of choice and full of fear from the human nature of sharing?

I am talking about the court injunction against Limewire and what it could mean in the long run. Think about it for a moment ...

Now, out of your pocket comes the extremely high cost of a music CD and you work hard for your money. This is your property just the same as the jeans you are wearing and the wallet that holds your change that is put into your own pocket. If you are owner of something then you have sole discretion on how it is used. If you walk into the parking lot and use the CD as a Frisbee, it is your prerogative ... but ...

From what I understand, "you are able to purchase the music and allow me to listen to it but you do not have the right to let me take a copy home'. Fair enough. My question is, "where will this end?" Will Procter & Gamble make it illegal for you to give your neighbor a little lotion for their chapped hands after a picnic? If company stays the night, will you be able to provide them a hot shower because they are not licensed to use the hot water provided by your power company? Will the Campbell's Soup people sue you if you feed them?

Think of what this could mean without having a bounded imagination.

  • Problem with Toshiba Laptop running Windows XP Pro.?

A friend brought his laptop over because it was constantly shutting down as soon as he tried to download ... anything. I attempted searching for spyware, viruses ... etc with Spysweeper, advanced system Care 3, Hijack This and system mechanic and tried to install AVG but each time, the system shut down prematurely. Safe mode gave me a little better movement but it always shut down. I was also unable to uninstall problem files. System Restore was useless but I managed to open msconfig and now have a new set of problems.

At startup, I get a splash screen for Spysweeper, a notice about system configuration changes and immediate shut down. What the heck is going on with his computer?
