I work with a girl who is absolutely obsessed with one band. They are all she will talk about , unless you force another subject on her but it usually goes back to the band after a few minutes. She is infatuated with one member and has even changed her look because of what he has explained as his perfect girl. She has gone to well over 15 shows for the band and actually has tickets to three shows in a row for this tour. I know this type of infatuation is more normal in Tweens but she is 24 or 25. Is there a psychological meaning behind this? I was just wondering. Thanks! =)

Don't worry it get more complicated...heres the whole story.

I met lets call them Jack and Jill at the exact same time. Jill and I became pretty close very quickly...more than likely if she's not at home, work or school were together...but were not really bff if that makes sense...I've only known them for about 5 or 6 months really. Just recently I have been talking to Jack a lot more often. We have completly random text convos that will last all day long and consist half the time of just quotes from movies weve seen together (with Jill or someone else always there) or random things we can think of...never anything serious. So the reason I met them is because my absolute best friend (we'll call her Mary) introduced us...and the plot thinkens. Mary used to really like Jack but just recently she started saying she didnt like him and in the begining of us all hanging out she said that Jack and I should date. But then she will turn around and get jealous when I spend time with Jack (and also Jill sometimes) or even just text them.

So I'm pretty much just wondering what I should do about the whole situation...should I go for it, or just say oh well its not meant to be? I really don't want to make Mary or Jill mad at me!

people are always saying its ok to kill animals because they dont really have anything to live for. they have familys and children also and they have a functioning brain, so they are able to feel pain like any human. why do people assume that just because they are not able to communicate the same ways as we do they are not worth as much. what makes humans higher beings than animals. i never got why people think we are soo much better so please help me out!!
