How can I use third party unerase utilities such as Restoration or Recuva with Norton System Works installed. I have removed the Unerase feature to returned to the Standard Recycle Bin, but neither of the above programs work on deleted files.

I share two folders on my network between my desktop and laptop. On the laptop, I open My Network Places and can see four folders--the two on the laptop and the two on the desktop. But on the desktop, I open My Network Places and see only the two desktop folders and not the two laptop folders. I can Search For Computers on the desktop and find the laptop, but it is listed twice under WORKGROUP and I can open either listing.

I have McAfee SiteAdvisor installed on my desktop and laptop computers. For days on both PCs, it no longer works with Google searches (no color-coded icons next to each listing). SiteAdvisor works fine with other searches using Yahoo, Ask.com, etc. The SA Toolbar icon is green at all times. McAfee has no solution

I uninstalled ScanSoft OmniPage SE 2.0 and installed the newer version SE 4. In Word 2003, when I click on File, I see two entries for the older SE 2.0 and two entries for the new SE 4. I want to delete the two entries for SE 2.0. One tip said to use the combo keys Ctrl.>Alt. plus the hiphen key to turn the cursor into a hiphen symbol and then use it to click on the File Menu entry to remove it. This does not work. I have removed all files in C referencing OmniPage 2.0 and all Registry keys referencing it, but the two entries still appear in Word's File Menu.

I have a DVD movie database consisting of two columns--Title containing 27 letters and Location containing 5 numbers. I want to print using two columns. Under Print Setup, I have tried every combination I can, but the Title column only shows 20 letters and not the 27 letters in my Table. How can I display the 27 letters in the Title field in the Print Preview?

I would like to install only the database program "BASE" and not the entire OpenOffice suite of programs. Is this possible?

I want to catalog my DVD movie collection, sort it alphabetically by Title, and print the results in two column format. I need only to enter the Title and the location code such as "D781" and no other fields. Any suggestions for such a simple program?
