  • Starting problems with VW 1600 dual port motor?

I have a bug with a 1600 dual port motor (engine code is AH), and it cranks, but won't start. I've double checked all the electrical, made sure it gets fuel, and checked the spark, and everything seems right. The only thing that doesn't seem quite right is that it cranks very slowly, even with a fully charged battery. Can this cause it to not start? And would the slow crank be the starter going out, or a different problem? Thanks

  • Mopar 10 inch drum brakes.?

The '65 Dart I have has 9 inch drums at the moment. I have a wrecked duster that has 10 inch spindles, and a '66 coronet that has 10 inch drums. Is the backing plate on the B-Body interchangeable with the A-body, or do I need to get 10 inch brakes off of an a-body to make the swap?

  • Torque Converter Installation, Mopar 904?

I can't get the torque converter to go all the way into the transmission. I can get it to engage the pump ears, and to start to go in, but it won't go any further. I found some burrs on the ends of the splines that I need to file out, but I couldn't even feel the splines in the first place, so will that fix it?

  • 1965 dodge dart big block K-member?

Would a big block k-member from a later a-body work for this, or would I have to go with the "elephant ears" style plate behind the water pump? I've got a '63 Imperial that I want to use the 413 from, and make a max wedge dart.
