  • "Erie Train Boy" by Horatio Alger, Jr.?

My boyfriend has a copy of the book, coprywrighted 1891, published by the H.M Caldwell Company, New York.

I've scoured the internet for information, and according to Wikipedia it was first published in 1890. I can't find anything else about the book, besides reviews and so on.

We'd really like to know if the copy he has is a second edition, or perhaps the first edition for that particular publisher. It's in pretty good shape, still has the front and back covers and its a hardback. No jacket, but from the detailing on the front, I don't think there was supposed to be one, but I'm not quite sure.

Any information about the book would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • Repair Costs for a 1985 El Camino?

Ok, my b/f and I are looking at possibly buying a 1985 El Camino. It runs, but we'd like to know what the costs would be for minor, moderate, or major repairs to the engine and transmission.

If you need any more details, as soon as I get them, I will update this question.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Period or Implantation?

My last period was January 22, and my cycle is usually 28 days, give or take a day or two. According to the ovulation calendar I have, that means that my most fertile days were the 4th through the 9th of February. My b/f and I had intercourse during most of those days, and then on the 13th of February I noticed some odd spotting. It was a dark brown color, and only showed when I wiped. It lasted for about 4 days, which really confused me as my periods usually last a full 7 days, and are very heavy.

Could that have been Implantation bleeding? There were no cramps, none of my usual period symptoms, and according to my normal cycle length if that *was* a period, it was about a a week and a half early! I did take a pregnancy test, but I took it before my expected due date for my period, so I'm not sure if the negative I got is accurate or not. Has anyone else experienced this? We're not TTC, but we're not against the idea of having a child together either. Thanks in advance!
