  • Where exactly does the energy go when 2 charged capacitors are connected in parallel?

Assuming that there is no resistance in the circuit (eg. superconductor), so Joule Heating cannot be applied here. Where else could the energy have gone?

They can't just disappear like that right? THanks

  • What do you call the fear of the unknown?

What phobia is that? Is there a name for it? As in Venusophobia or arachybutyrophobia, is there one that was coined especially for the fear of the unknown?

By unknown, it means I fear what that I not know of but I am really good at things that I know because once I know what will and what won't happen, things are at my disposal. So as long as it remains known, it's like the future that is extremely unpredictable.

There, jumping down from multiple storeys, I know that I won't die, so I am not scared. But chuck me into an MRI for scanning, I have my fears because it's my first time inside that hole. And it hurts me mentally to think that I'm in there doing nothing while I may face unknown consequences.

One heck of a stupid phobia and that sucks.

Just tell me the name of it? If there's one.

  • How do our eyes judge distance?

Do our eyes use the speed of light to judge distance? Because light reflected from a nearer object reaches our retina earlier than those rays that are bounced off a further object. So does this mean that we are actually judging distance subconsciously, by using the speed of light?

  • If we were to clone 2 copies from a single human, will the the 2 clones grow up to be the same in all aspects?

Let's say this will be an experiment where the two clones are separated but stays in the same environment and given the very same treatment if it is possible. If everything is the same, could one of them differ from the other? Can it be that there are unseen variables or forces that may affect them as well?

So, if people do change as they grow, does that mean human changes according to every single variable in life? Or is it just about timing?

Human acts and reacts according to the way that he is treated, but are they other factors, like genetic, timing or pure LUCK and ACCIDENT, just like how life was formed?

So, given that there are variables to affect human's personality, mentality and all that. Is there any formula that let's us create the human the way we want it to be? Or it's just impossible because every single variable just varies according to timing and luck? As in:

    Genetic+Knowledge+Personality+Treatment+Luck+Timing+Unknown Variables=Human

Maybe it's a coincidence to ask
