  • Does any baseball Web site list the league averages for every major stat?

I'm constantly wondering how a player or team's OBP or OPS compares to the league average, yet I often can't find clear indications of what these league averages are.

Does anyone know of a baseball Web site that clearly lists the league averages for major stats such as BA, OBP, SLG, OPS, ERA, etc.? Please provide a link to the specific Web page if you do. Thanks!

  • Where can I find an MP3 of "Sonic Reducer" as performed by The Replacements?

I'm looking for an MP3 of Track 20, "Sonic Reducer", from the Replacements album called "It Ain't Over Til the Fat Roadie Sings." The track was corrupted on the copy I purchased, and I'd really like to have the complete album.

If anyone can direct me to where I could buy, borrow or barter for this track, I would be forever grateful. Thank you!

  • Can anyone point me to any statistics about how many U.S. businesses are currently using VoIP?

I'm writing an article on the business benefits of VoIP (also referred to as "IP telephony") and I'd like some hard numbers regarding how many U.S. companies are using it and/or how many U.S. businesses are expected to convert to a VoIP system in the near future. Can anyone help?

  • Why can't I update my iPod's software?

Everytime I go to update my iPod's music library, Apple tells me that there's new software for my iPod and asks me whether I'd like to install it. When I try to do this, the software seems to be loading normally then suddenly it gives up and I receive the following error message:

"The iPod "Daver's iPod" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (1417)."

Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on what's causing it? Is there an easy solution?

    Thanks!

  • iPod Users: Shall We Play a Game?

Let's play the iPod Shuffle Game. Here's how it works:

    1) You set your iPod (or other MP3 device) to shuffle. (Or, if you have an iPod Shuffle, just push play).

    2) You write down the title and artist of the first FIVE songs that come up.

    3) You post your list below.

    4) At the end of today (or maybe early tomorrow), I'll give 10 points to the best list.

As a point of reference, here's my list:

    1. "Embryo/Children of the Grave" by Black Sabbath

    2. "Barely Legal" by The Strokes

    3. "Que Onda Guero (Nortec Collective Remix)" by Beck

    4. "Gold Digger (Feat. Jamie Foxx)" by Kanye West

    5. "Queen of the Underworld" by Jesse Malin

PLEASE BE HONEST!!! Don't just pick what you think are the five best songs on your iPod. Doing that ruins the randomness of the game -- and it may not do you any good anyway. ;-)
