  • Driving on the right..is it wrong??

A 7 year-old asked me this question, and I have no idea.

Purely hypothetical, but (aside from the safety issues here, and obviously this is not a smart thing to do) is it legal to drive a steering-wheel-on-the-right car ( like an English car) in the USA? I mean, if you drove on the correct (right-hand) lane and all that.

Is there any prohibition against that, from strictly a legal stance?

Again, no one is planning on this...just wondering.

  • Washington D.C.- Looking for Info?

My college-aged son is doing a 3-week medical-related volunteer stint at Walter Reed. He will be housed off-hospital in the general area of W. Reed, but the housing has no internet access. Since he is taking an online college class, he must have internet access.

I need a safe internet cafe, library, or other internet-friendly place so that he can complete his class while he is in D.C. (He does have his own car).

Since we know nothing about what areas are safe and what areas have internet access, I am in desperate need of some ideas as to what he can do so he can keep up on his online class while not getting robbed, etc. ! Any ideas????

  • Name for Chinese cookie?

About 25 years ago a co-worker brought in a box of commercial Chinese cookies she had received as a gift from someone in Houston. I could swear the name of the cookie was "Funwon". They were similar to a fortune cookie but had much more of an eggy flavor ( and no where near an almond cookie). Anyone know anything about these?

  • Is an old Disneyworld ticket valid for Disneyland?

In 1996 I purchased a multiple-day Parkhopper pass at Disneyworld in Florida. I still have 1 day left. Ticket has no expiration. Does anyone know if Disneyland in Anaheim will honor that ticket?

  • Looking for Chris Isaak Show DVDs (not the music ones)?

Showtime cancelled this show, but it was very good. Have searched, but can't find where the episodes are available. Not a huge fan of his music or his onstage wardrobe, but the show was a hoot. Any idea where episode DVD's can be found? Have tried eBay.

  • Attaching a frame to a purse?

Making a fabric purse w/beads (not a knitted bag) . Metal frame has sewing holes. Do I attach the lining and outside fabric separately to the frame? Some instructions say to slip stitch the top of lining and outer fabric together first, but wouldn't this make the frame's bottom edge show on the outside?and do I turn the raw edges of the top of the lining& outer fabric under before attaching? If so, do I sew thru just 1 thickness of the top edge to attach or thru both thicknesses? I have looked all over the net and the instructions are not answering what I need. Thanks.
