Out of the blue you're told to resign or be terminated?
What are the options? 2 workers who never had complaints to/about/from them were asked this in a right to hire/fire state. Never late. Their singular complaint was about an unemployed homeless person who sat in the workers' assigned stations. By law/work rules - a non employee cannot sit there. When they filed a formal complain - they were called in and asked to resign within days of the complaint. It's legally defined as being stalking as this scenario went on for 5 months The homeless person followed them in every single night they came into work. Some hours later, that person would go outside and "wait" in their car for hours. Then leave or move to another spot as the oncoming shift came in.Though it was only mentioned in the formal complaints of the employees. They now feel their supervisors are guilty of facilitating the alleged stalker.
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics2 years agoAn insurance company used an illegal POA and alleged doctor's approval to return to work? Options?
I had a massive stroke that hospitalized me for 3 weeks and left me brain damaged for life.A benefits company has denied my claim despite overwhelming evidence.. I can't do 1/2 the things I once could despite intense rehabilitation. They made claims I was uncooperative; but it's they who have been uncooperative.
My former employer showed me letter about doctor. I recently got a copy of the illegal Power of Attorney. According to the dates, This alleged POA was produced while I was in coma in ICU.
11 AnswersLaw & Ethics3 years agoHow does this animal whisper thing happen (dogs, horses, pets, birds, etc.)?
Here's the thing. I've always had this odd way of understanding animals and getting animals to trust me when others have failed. Mostly dogs, horses, and cats. Lately though, I had a massive stroke and awoke no knowing who or what I was. Past several months, I've recovered at extremely rapid, but not unheard of rate. Not all of it good. But among the positives, I now seem to have this weird ability to understand and communicate (w/out words) to any type animal - tame or not - instantly. Once encountered, they seem to gravitate towards me and only me in ways I can't possibly comprehend at this time. But it's happening and I'm kind of rolling with it. Now I'm looking for answers.
2 AnswersOther - Pets3 years agoHeightened senses/extraordinary abilities beyond normal?
Up until I was 20, I had extremely heightened senses - like I could hear things others couldn't, the way dogs do. Always sensitive to light, I could see things better at night, I could smell things to the point of finding something and sometimes smelling a person's fear or some other emotion. All that went away by age 21. Loss of hearing in one ear, vision often blurry, smell became normal. 31 years later, I had a massive stroke and began a rapid, rare, miraculous recovery after 9 days of being unconscious. 8 weeks after recovery, I awoke in middle of night hearing an electrical buzzing in my good ear. Somehow I knew it was coming from fuse box. Using my hearing, I traced the buzzing to a plugin w/a shortage in it. Also, my sense of smell and sight is much better than it was a few years ago. Space and depth perception of things around me are enhanced as well. Sight, smell, hearing and touch senses are going beyond normal. Except for my one bad ear, which testing shows is near completely deaf. I'm doing some research, but would like some informed input. No freak strength or superman stuff going on here, but "beyond normal" is kinda scary.
3 AnswersPsychology3 years agoI have a 99 Buick that starts, then dies unless I hold the gas pedal a few seconds. 3.1 liter V6.?
I replaced the fuel and air filters. I then replaced the battery because it had a dead cell, and that helped a lot, but it should still start w/no problems. Just prior to replacing the battery, It did stop running several times when put into gear or stopped at an intersection, but not since replacing the battery. Alternator/generator is good. Car has 330,000 miles on it. Doesn't smoke at all and runs fine once it's started and has no problems when idling. Very quiet car. No rattling noises from the motor. Had the car for 3 years and it's never done this. Still don't know why it dies every time I start it unless I hold the gas.
