Video/photo on top of a video in Photoshop CS6?
I want to edit a video in Photoshop CS6. It will show me talking throughout the entire video, but I want to be able to physically point to videos and pictures that come up on the screen. For example, on Tosh.O when the host is talking about movies as they play next to him (http://youtu.be/oTCW9-P3qj0?t=1m27s). Does anyone know how to do this? I edit photos frequently on CS6 but this is my first time doing movies.
1 AnswerSoftware7 years agoIs Naked Juice okay to drink if it got hot, but was never opened?
I bought the green machine while I was traveling, and I didn't drink it immediately. It was not refrigerated for a little less than a day, but I never broke the seal. It is being refrigerated now. Is it still okay to drink? I'm hesitant to throw away something so expensive and delicious, but I'd rather not get food poisoning.
3 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks7 years agoImage ON TOP OF sidebar on tumblr?
I drew a picture of a character, and I would like it to be sitting on top of my sidebar (not actually in it; that makes the border encompass the photo, which is what I'm trying to avoid). I would like the character to be sitting on top of the sidebar's border. This is the image.

Yes, it can be blocking the text in the description; I don't really care. Does anyone have any experience with this? My theme is transparent redux by steph tukut.
1 AnswerProgramming & Design7 years ago2nd Order Linear Differential Equation?
a.) Show that the functions y1(x)=x^3 and y2(x)=x^4 are solutions of the second order linear differential equation
x^2y''-6xy'+12y=0 , x > 0
and write that Wronskian(y1,y2)(x) does not equal 0 for all x > 0. Write down general solution of this equation.
b.) Use variation of parameters, and part (a) above, to find the general solution of the inhomogeneous equation
x^2y''-6xy'+12y=1/x , x > 0
Hint: first convert equation to standard form.
Any help with this would be appreciated!!
1 AnswerMathematics7 years agoPhysics - angular momentum?
Suppose we have a carousel of radius 10 meters, and its initial angular momentum is L1. Suddenly, the Hulk comes over and gives it a big push of 9 N. What can we say about the angular momentum (is it conserved?), the new speed/angular velocity, and the torques here? What would Fnet and tnet be? I'm trying to better understand angular momentum.
2 AnswersPhysics8 years agoDifferential equations - corporate boardroom application question?
A corporate boardroom contains 4500ft^3 of air initially free of carbon monoxide. Each morning (time t=0) the executives arrive and cigarette smoke containing 4% carbon monoxide by volume is introduced into the room at a rate of .3ft^3/min by the smokers. A ceiling fan keeps the air well circulated, and the air and smoke mixture leaves the room at a rate of 10ft^3 /min. After exiting the room the carbon monoxide is removed from the air and smoke mixture via a catalytic converter system before being returned as clean air to the room at the same rate by the building's air system.
a.) explain in detail how to find a linear differential equation for the number of cubic feet, A(t), of carbon monoxide in the room at t minutes. Using the initial condition A(0)=0, solve this equation by hand to determine a formula for A(t).
d.) It is known that a CO concentration of .16% is lethal. Can such life-threatening concentrations appear in the conference room? It is also known that exposure to concentrations above .02% are associated with loss of judgement on the part of the subjects. Since the occupants of the room are senior executives of the company, do you have any recommendations for savvy investors holding stock in the company?
Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoDifferential equations - general solution of first order DE?
The general solution of a first order DE is a formula, containing one arbitrary constant, representing all solutions of the equation. Find, by hand, showing all of your working, the general solution of the first order linear equation
(x^2-1)(dy/dx)-xy=2x(x^2-1)
Hint: equation is not yet in standard form.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
1 AnswerMathematics8 years agoTattoo art improvements?
Hi, I'd like to get a tattoo of the design I drew (linked at bottom), but I'd like to get opinions on possible ways to improve it. I know I want a dragon and I want to incorporate the watercolor feel (as shown by the colors). This is kind of similar to what I'm talking about, but I couldn't depict it well in the drawn design (http://graphicleftovers.com/blog/wp-content/upload... Please let me know!

P.S. Tattoo is planned to be appx 4 inches long and on the ribs.

I want it to be as small as possible, but I don't want it to blur. Can anyone tell me how small it could be? (in inches, etc)

1 AnswerOther - Education8 years agoGood animes to watch?
These are the ones I've seen already:
*FMA Brotherhood
*Elfen Lied
*Death Note
Highschool of the Dead
Monster
Fullmetal Alchemist
Chobits
Pokemon
Wolf’s Rain
Bleach (ish)
Spice and Wolf
Fairy Tail
InuYasha (ish)
However, the first four listed are my favorites. Does anyone have any suggestions that are close to those?
6 AnswersComics & Animation8 years agoBest (free-ish) fantasy MMORPG?
I'm looking for something with better graphics and more mature than Runescape, which is what I played when I was about 10 years old. I'm 20 now, and I'd love something with a little more to it. Any ideas? Customizable characters is a plus too.
5 AnswersVideo & Online Games8 years agoCalculus II help! (Volume, work, vectors)?
1) the region enclosed by the curves y=x^(1/2) and y=x is rotated about the line y=-1. Find the volume of the solid obtained in this way.
2.) find the parametric equations of the line that passes through the point (2,3,1) and is parallel to the vector v=<3,1,-7>. (I know how to do this when it says perpendicular, but not parallel).
3.) find work done of pumping water out of a half full conical tank (shaped like a party hat). Height=10m and radius=7m.
Thanks so so much!

3 AnswersStudying Abroad8 years agoChemistry Question - Chemical Equilibrium application?
Suppose you were to study iron(III) solutions for the purpose of producing a dietary iron supplement. The equilibrium
[Fe(H2O)6]^3+(aq) + H2O(l) ⇌ [Fe(H2O)5(OH)]^2+(aq) + H3O^+(aq)
The [Fe(H2O)6]^3+(aq) species is pink and the [Fe(H2O)5(OH)]^2+(aq) species is yellow. Most aqueous solutions of iron(III) are yellow.
(i) What pH range would you expect to observe when an iron salt is dissolved in water? Explain your answer.
(ii) Suppose you wanted your new dietary supplement to appear pink (so as to be more appealing). Propose an additive to your solution that could be used to ensure the pink color is observed. Review other supplement drinks to see what compounds are typically included. Include references.
(iii) Describe why you selected the chemical additive from 1) a chemist’s perspective and 2) from a personal health perspective.
5 Stars to whoever can answer these. :)
4 AnswersChemistry8 years agoDoes/has anyone go/gone to FIU?
I'm looking to do the National Student Exchange, and I'm stuck between California Polytechnic and FIU. I used to live in Miami so I know I love it there, but the two times I've been to California, I've been entranced. Does anyone go/has anyone gone to either of these schools, and can you tell me about the academics, student life, and so on? I need some insight! Thanks in advance.
