  • Ideas for betrayal?

I'm outlining the first book in my paranormal series.

There's an werewolf alpha and she was betrayed by her husband (he is a beta), but I can't figure out what he did...it happened before the story starts.

A bit more info, so you can get the feel of him:

Early in the first book the beta will tell the antagonist about the MC's powers and he gets kidnapped. The MC sees him, but doesn't recognize him since he was only 4-5 years when the man left. However, the MC escapes his captivity and after awhile he sees the beta again. The MC finds out that the beta is his best friend's father.

The beta blackmails the MC, so he won't tell that he was the reason he got kidnapped etc. etc. etc.

Now, I need ideas for what the beta did before the story. He betrayed his wife/alpha and ran before she could do anything about it. It can't be too bad, since he is allowed to stay when he comes back (she doesn't trust him). He is allowed to do that because the alpha believes her son has the right to get to know his father.

    Any ideas? :)

Does the queen also have a throne?

Alright, to make the question clear:

    I m writing a fantasy series.

There s a king and a queen (not much in the story).

Now, the king is the monarch and sits on the throne.

His consort queen sits next to him, but is she also sitting on a throne? Is there another word for the chair she sits on?

A quick second question: I sometimes see that their son and daughter have a chair on their own too. Does that chair have a name?

I tried to find the answer on google, but I couldn't find it. I most likely looked in the wrong places, but I hope that someone has the answer.
