So about an hour ago my parents went out and didn't tell my sister or I where they were going. We weren't worried or anything, so my sister text our mum, turns out she left her phone at home so she called our dad and he told us that they were at the pub blah blah blah... so when they get home they say hey and we reply quite annoyed. I go down to get a drink and my dad asks my sister why she's annoyed and she tells him. Then suddenly out of nowhere he starts raising his voice asking why we need to know where they are. So I tell him we were just asking, my mum says she didn't whereas she didn't, so I said. Then my dad shouts at me for no apparent reason, so I shout back asking why he shouted at me as it was totally unreasonable. He then gets really angry and I go to my room and then my mum is shouting at my sister saying she never knows where she is which again is untrue, she then goes on to talk about how they are always bending their back over for us (which is true because they're our parents) but that's completely out of nowhere.

Am I being unreasonable for defending myself?

I am a guy, and most of my friends are girls (btw I am straight). My best friend is called Gabby (not really) but she always gets really jealous when I am with my friend who is 'cooler' who is called Imogen (again not really). Gabby and Imogen don't know each other well at all but they don't like each other. Last night I went out with Imogen, Gabby saw me and got really jealous and is ignoring me. What do I do? I told Gabby that I didn't like Imogen (trying to keep Gabby happy) but now she knows I was lying.
