My period is a week late, the last time i had sex i had some weird cramping pain in my cervix afterward. I have PCOS but usually my periods are quite good. Anything i need to worry about? And if i don't get my period soon, am i able to just start the pill so it becomes regular again or do i have to wait until it starts?

After how much time spent TTC are you considered to be having problems?

If a person who is young, say 18-25, tries for 3-6 months with no results, is that considered a long time? And if so, what do you do once you get to the point where you're beginning to think you cannot get pregnant?

My partner has a single female friend who i also became friendly with (until about 2months ago) i don't have a problem with them being friends, however i think it is a bit suss that she texts him so often(usually when she knows he is at work) and always asks if she can come over to see him, especially when she knows i am not home. The last time she came over they were sitting out the front having a smoke and i went out there and sat with my partner. After she left she texted him the next day, while he was at work, and told him she wasn't happy about the fact that i was out there, and that she didn't want to see us ''making out'' when all we did was sit with eachother. To me it seems like she is jealous. I know he wouldn't touch her, and he doesn't respond to half of the texts she sends. But i have a really big problem with this, is that silly? Am i just overreacting? When my guy friends get a girlfriend, i always back off and try not to text too much. I just think it's the way it should be. Especially in the first year of the relationship because they're still working the relationship out.

I've told her on more than one occassion that she needs to back off because i am uncomfortable about this. At first i was nice about it, but after a while of her trying to secretly text him (and him telling me straight away) i have been a bit more stern with my warnings.

I know i would back off if someones girlfriend felt like that.

So my questions are: what would you do? Do you think i am just overreacting? And any other thoughts/advice you can give me?

I am an 18 year old female and my symptoms/problems are:

-Headaches (every day but not all day every day)

-A feeling like I am going to vomit but the feeling is more in my chest/throat and i haven't actually thrown up

-Little lumps all over my arms that are really itchy and just appeared randomly while i was laying in bed yesterday and haven't gone away but range in severity and itchiness throughout the day.

-I think I am going to the toilet more than often without drinking extra at all.

-Light headedness and occasionally so bad that i fear i may faint

-Mood changes for example crying at something silly like a romantic song.

-I'm on the pill and my period started a week early and lasted until it was supposed to end so 2 weeks. It was extremely light the whole time and i hadn't missed any pills and have been on this pill for a few months with no problem.

That is all I can think of at this point. If you need more information please ask me. I would really appreciate your input. Oh and I know people are going to tell me to go to the doctors, and i will but i have to wait a few days so in the meantime i really would appreciate a few ideas. thanks :)

Okay so I am in love with my best friend but he says he is unable to feel love.

Basically, he was in a long term relationship with a girl who had many mental issues and it ended because although he tried to help her, the relationship was extremely detrimental to his mental health. After he ended it he discovered she had been cheating on him for quite some time.

Every relationship he has ever been in the girl has either cheated on him or just lead him on etc. so now he feels like he can't trust girls which i understand but he also said he has made it so he can't feel such feelings as love and he can't even have a crush.

It's been roughly 2 years since he broke up with his ex and he has not come close to having a relationship since. He hasn't even had a crush on anyone.

We have a mutual friend who has informed me that he believes i am the perfect girl for him and he wishes he could feel love for me. Which is extremely upsetting for me because that makes me feel like there might be hope one day but i don't know if he could ever recover enough to give it a chance.

He suffers from chronic depression but is only 22 so i feel like he could maybe recover from his inability to trust and love at some point in life.

So basically my question is...Do you think he could love?

Also, is there some way i can show him that if he could love me that i would never let him down.

Any advice would be really appreciated. :)

Well my period was due on the 6th of this month but it came on the 27th and while it normally lasts 5-6 days it only lasted 2-3 days. Does this mean anything? My period is very regular. Comes between the 4th and 7th every month.

I have a new partner and have been having more sex than normal and he is bigger than i was used to. My period started right after we had sex. It was definitely my period not just bleeding.

I was just curious as to what may have caused this? and also does this change my cycle? I am not sure when to expect my next period now?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok so my last period finished around the 6th of November. My periods go for 5 days. they usually start the same date or the day before my last one started. ie if it started the 2nd of october it would start either the 1st or 2nd of november. Well I haven't had my period yet and today is the 7th of December.

I am doing a test tonight but i was just curious...if i am pregnant around what date would i have gotten pregnant?

I am due to get my first pap smear and i am a little nervous. I was wandering about a few things before i went to get it.

Is there a certain time in your cycle that is best?

If there is a chance you are pregnant and you got a pap smear could that be dangerous for the baby? (i don't think i am i was just curious)

What exactly happens when you go to get it?

Okay so when i log on to my new laptop it comes up with an announcement with the heading: wzcsldr2.exe - entry point not found

and the rest says: the procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.

basically for some reason my wireless internet doesn't work and we have done everything to try and work it out.

does anyone know what this announcement is and how to fix the problem?

Okay so this morning i had a shower at 7:45 and noticed a little bit of vaginal blood. i wasn't too worried and continued on with getting ready.

As i was getting ready for school there was some more blood.

I went to school and did my exam and at about 10:30 went to the toilet and there was so much blood i was almost crying! it was everywhere. i have no idea why it's there. I period finished over a week ago and is regular. I am 17 years old.

I live in Australia and it's 12:45pm and i am still bleeding although not as bad as before.

I am not over exaggerating on the amount of blood. I was in there for about 3 or 4 minutes just trying to clean it all up.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I have had many health problems recently so i went and got a blood test and found out i have an iron deficiency.

I was just wandering how low it is?

The doctor just prescribed me some tablets and didn't actually say anything about it.

I could see on the computer though that it said Iron- 8

How far off is this from the normal range?

I live in Australia so the measurements are probably different.

so i have a few medical questions and was wandering if someone could tell me what they could mean?

Dizziness:

Almost everytime i stand up i feel dizzy and sometimes when i am sitting i get it too. It is becoming more frequent.

Blurry Vision:

My eyes become very blurry and i have trouble seeing. I quite oftenhave to sit down and wait till it becomes better. it usually lasts a minute or two

Pins and Needles:

Everytime i sit down for over a minute i get pins and needles. I never used to get it that often

Nausea:

after every meal i feel sick. i am incapable of throwing up so when it is really bad i have to force myself to throw up so i can feel better. it doesn't matter how big or small the meal is, what the meal is or how fast or slow i eat the meal.

I am 17 years old and i am Overweight. My height is 172cm and my weight is 89kg.

If anybody has any ideas what this is please let me know. thanks.

I am printing out some quotes and i really would prefer that they are in one line. Is it possible to print it so the words are from top to bottom. I don't think i am explaining this well. basically i want it so instead of the page printing long ways it has the long sides as the width.

haha if you understand what i am saying please tell me how to do it. i don't have a clue what version of word it is.

Okay so for a while now i have had a variety of problems. I know i seem like(and probably am) a hypochondriac but i just want to see if anyone has any ideas because i feel awkward talking to my doctor about these things and every time i go in there he just gives me a prescription for anti-biotics, No matter what the symptoms are.

*dizziness-most days i will all of a sudden feel very light headed and i usually fall or have to sit down till it stops. and it's not from standing up to quickly.

*headaches-i always -as in almost everyday- get a headache. they range in severeness and i stopped taking panadol a long time ago and have learnt to just ride it out because i don't want to have to take panadol every day.

*nausea-after every meal i feel sick. i am incapable of throwing up so when it is really bad i have to force myself to throw up so i can feel better. it doesn't matter how big or small the meal is, what the meal is or how fast or slow i eat the meal. Also when i try and eat very slowly so i feel full i have to stop because i feel like i will throw up. and it doesn't matter whether i am full or not.

*Blurry eyes-sometimes my eyes go so blurry that i have to sit down or just stand still trying to make it clear so i can walk. It gets so blurry that i can't see a thing out of the eye. i have an appointment at the Optometrists in 2 weeks.

*Period changes-i don't know whether it matters or not but my period has all of a sudden changed. I was very regular-never ever late but sometimes a day early until a couple of months ago when my period came a week or so late. Then it was really really heavy and then non-existent and then really really heavy then non-existent etc etc. It was so heavy all of a sudden that i would leek everywhere after only having a tampon in for about 30 minutes-1 hour.

*Skin changes-i have always had immaculate skin and now all of a sudden it has become greasy and i a, starting to get pimples. I hadn't made any changes to my showering (less or more) when this started but now i have started washing my face a little more often and it hasn't made a difference. I never ever wear make-up so that has nothing to do with it.

Hey. I need to fly from Melbourne-Canberra return. The dates are 10 January 2009-21 January 2009.

My flight to Canberra has to be there before 11:30am and my flight from Canberra has to be after 1:30pm

I have searched all the websites i know of and have found the Tiger Airways is much much cheaper then the others. I don't really care about the seating etc because the flight is only an hour long. So i was wandering is there any problems with Tiger? Or should i just book it?

The other one i was thinking about was Virgin but the flights are either at the wrong times or sold out. Those dates are the dates i absolutely have to travel on. Does anyone know a good cheap way of getting to Canberra?

From my search i don't think Jet Star fly there...but i may be wrong?

and advice or stories would be helpful.

I just need to get to Canberra safely and as cheap as possible
