Hey, ladies, I had a very irregular cycle this month and was wondering if any of you experienced anything similar and if it turned out to be anything major. I don't have health insurance at the time so I don't plan on going to a gynecologist unless this persists. Sorry if this is TMI or tl;dr.

Around day 29 of my cycle I saw very light brown spotting which lasted for 2 days, the next 2 days it was slightly heavier and more red in color. The next 4 days I had a light red (almost orange-pink) flow. It was heavy enough to use a tampon but not close to what I consider a normal period. Today I have light spotting again. I had a little bit of cramping but nothing outside of the usual.

I already took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I don't think it is a false negative because my boyfriend and use condoms and didn't have sex the week I should have ovulated.

I usually have a cycle that lasts 28-30 days with 4 days of moderately heavy bleeding. My period came early in April and May (23 day cycles both times) . Could that now be throwing me off?

Also, the last few months have been a crazy time for me. Some things that have happened include: death in the family, graduated college, moved, living with people I don't know well, job applications/interviews, studying for MCAT, and getting a new apartment in busy part of the city where it is hard to sleep because of noise/light at night. Could stress cause this?

Whenever I take a Starseed quiz I score incredibly high. Some of the questions seem like things that everyone would say "yes" to or that are very inconsequential. If you have some free time type "starseed quiz" into google, tell me what you got and what it was out of what the grading scale says (ie I got a score of 34 and 20+ meant absolutely a starkid.) Hello, I’m 21 and spent over someone who I was dating house because I live far(ish) away and we were going somewhere at night. He is 22 and lives with his mom. She let me stay in her bed (she is very religious and was uncomfortable with her son to sharing a bed with me), laid out towels, fed me breakfast, and even gave me gas money because I live slightly over an hour away and she thinks that I drove down to there area more often than her son visits me. She was a very gracious hostess. I would normally think to write a thank you card in a situation; however, that same day her son told me that he didn’t see our relationship going anywhere and that we should just be friends. Should I still write a thank you note to his mother or would that be uncouth-- like I was sucking up or something? I do not want to be rude to her, but I also do not want to make this situation more awkward. Thanks for your input!
