I am a teen. I am a track and xc runner. I am an artist. (acrylic paint and graphite) I am smart. (i.e. straight A's) I am a vegetarian. I am a girl. I am mormon. My fave. food is homemade mashed potatoes. I like puzzles.

  • Pills, hypothermia, and other things?

So, I don't know if I will kill myself,....I'm still debating...but it's up to me to decide.

If you answer this question saying blah blah blah, don't kill yourself...I will downvote you and ignore you.

You don't know what it's like to be autistic and then mess up a relationship that is with someone else autistic. You don't know what it is like to perpetually be a jerk.

Anyways...I am HOPING someone will answer seriously.

I have researched ways to die...and the only one that seems mostly painless is hypothermia.

In track, I could keep my legs in the ice bucket for 25 minutes, everyone was astonished.

Also, my core body temp is 96/97...lower than normal. So it might take a bit longer for me.

    Anyways, I need to know:

1.) If I were to go into a forest to sleep away in the snow, how would I prevent bears/wolves/coyotes from attacking me? That'd be painful.

2.) What is the best sleeping pill, or is chloroform regularly available?

3.) How long would it take for a 20-year old girl, decent shape, 140-147 pounds, 5'7", vegetarian, high blood pressure to die in 20/30 degree weather...lightly clothed...in the snow?

    Thanks so much. :)

  • Relationship issue...LDR and marriage issues?

Okay, so I'm 19 and a little socially underdeveloped....meaning, until this past summer, I didn't get to have a dating life. But now I'm back in school. However, over the summer, I met this amazing guy, who wants to move a state over to be in a relationship with me. We are compatible in pretty much every way, and have talked about everything regarding that stuff.....but he is 19 as well. I don't want to be in a serious relationship that young. I feel like there will be too much pressure on me if he moves down here, at the same time, I can't do this LDR anymore, it's destroying my social schedule, my school schedule, and even my sleep schedule. I don't want to give him up but it's not fair to say he can't be let go, and he doesn't want to do an open relationship thing. He has a serial approach to dating, find one girl and stick with her, I want to try some guys before I decide that. I feel like we will have sex if he moves down here...he has before, but we have done everything but sex together, and we both want to wait until marriage. I don't want to divorce young, I don't want to use up all my young'n'pretty years being just with him. Yet, the whole point of dating is to find someone who is perfect for you, and he is for me. GAH. Help? Advice?

  • Is this a bad thing to do?

So, I'm a mormon, and I WILL NOT EVER have sex *before* marriage.

I have run marathons so I have great willpower, and I know how to say no to guys.

    That is not the problem.

I don't think making out is really that bad.

Sure, it triggers those emotions, but so long as you aren't petting/ laying side by side/or plain out having sex...it's all about self-control.

Anyways, I have only had one legit bf for about 4 months. He was online, but he visited me for 4 days and gave me my first kiss at 18 and made-out with me the entire visit. Now I'm kissing crazy.

I skyped-made out with a guy I really Really liked a month later.

Then half a year later (about now) there is this guy that I kinda like but he's 28 and I'm 19 and he's too effeminate for me, and he isn't mormon. But, I like talking to him, and we have this thing where until I get a bf, he can come up like once or twice a month and make-out with me.

At first I didn't think it was bad, but now I kinda feel unsure :/

    Thoughts?

(btw, I'm not ugly, just incredibly awkward socially...and so is he...but he is fat, I am skinny.)

  • Question about a guy friend online?

I have been emailing this one guy online for 2 months now, and we also (rarely) spot each other on this website.

This website is where we met first, and its a community for people with autism (meaning we don't understand social skills very well).

Anyways, you can message people on the site, and that is where we first started.

    Then it progressed into email.

Now, I just got an email from him yesterday and he asked if message or email anyone else from that site.

Also, he says that he will go through my list of worries (a list of 60 things worry about) and answer them all if I want.

    What does that mean(both things)?

What should I say(about the messaging)?

Oh, and I do talk to other people from that site, but I don't email anyone else.

    Thanks so much!

  • Serious question: bugs and food?

Let me first say that I am autistic and vegan....so things are very real and clear to me than others, also, I get grossed out by the prospect of eating animals or living things or anything that came from it.

Anyways, I recently started seeing cockroaches in the kitchen. I've read up about them, and they spread their excrement wherever they go, and lay their eggs.

Also, I was told that there are bugs that sometimes get into the assembly lines.

This seriously sickens me, please help me figure out how I can combat this or whatever so I can eat again because as of today I hate all food because I am scared that bugs are doing those things: specifically cockroaches...

    Please helps, thank you.

  • Not enough sleep 2 nights before marathon...am I screwed?

I want to get under 4 hours on my marathon...however, I am almost vegan, in a high altitude and the sleep thing is weighing against me.

    Can I get that time?

I had all these people telling me I could get 3:30 on it because I got 45:29 on my 10k.....but I am out of shape now because of a stupid taper and I know that isn't realistic.

I am not asking a lot, freaking oprah got 4:22 or something, I just don't want to be like her because I have spent 4 years of my life on running, and 18 weeks training. I want to do good.

I probably won't be drinking the sports drink they provide (powerade hurts my stomach, and they aren't giving gatorade) I don't think I'll eat along the course (banana's and oranges....I didn't eat them during training) and I'll probably be hydrated ok.

  • How to adjust to altitude in a week?

I come from AZ, and I am running a marathon in Utah, in 6 days.

I am not used to being in altitude, but I don't want it to seriously bag my race because it is my first ever marathon and I would like to do well.

Is there anything I can do running-wise and health-wise to help me get used to the change?

(btw, you can also say things diet-wise, but I can't eat a lot of common foods so I doubt I'll be able to eat it.)

    Thanks!

  • Is Jamba Juice vegan?

I've read that sherbet can have gelatin and rennet in it. While some gelatins and rennet can be plant-based, the majority are fish and animal based.

I couldn't find where to contact them, but I really want to have the one my mom brought home. I just don't want to find I was eating meat or heaven forbid fish.

Oh, and I don't care about the dairy aspect of it, just the gelatin and rennet.

    Thanks!

  • 5'7" and 150 pounds.....I am not fat! Am I?

I am training for a marathon.

Just this saturday I ran 18 miles with the last mile being a 6:14 time (the other miles were at 11-11:30 pace, but that was just my pace for that)

On thursday I ran 8.2 miles with a 7:48 pace.

(But those are my prs, I run a 9 minute pace on my normal runs, I think, I don't keep track on those).

But I was watching a tv show.

They said 140 pounds is normal.

I just thought how dare they.

They can't run as far or as fast as I can.

Until they do, they should include people around my weight range.

    So I am 5'7" and 150!

I run 5 days a week, cross-train once a week, (i only take off sundays because of my religion).

I mean, the BMI thing, it's a freaking liar.

It can't tell how much muscle I have.

I have legs made of pure muscle, pretty muscly arms, and I have a stomach that fluctuates on the hour (to be pouchy or good).

    Am I fat?

Obviously I know that my BMI is on the heavier side of healthy, but am I fat or even overweight based on my workout routine?

(Oh, and I am also almost vegan (aside from dairy).)

    Thanks!

  • Who didn't get asked to prom and didn't go? Were you sad?

    Life sucks.

I'm pretty much one of the only people who didn't get asked.

    My senior year.

I'm pretty sure most of my friends have dates.

    So I am depressed.

    Anyone else go through this?

    How did you deal?

  • The week before the marathon? Resting on vacation?

I want to do GOOD on my first marathon, so I am following a training plan (hal-higdon, intermediate 1) to a T.

Problem is, the week of the marathon (in a different state) is basically my entire summer vacation (1700 to stay the whole week).

I DON'T what to be in a different state and waste my vacation, but I NEED to do good on this (this may be my last chance to compete for a while, my parents won't pay for college if I try running another one while in college)

WHAT should I do while up there that is very relaxed but is still fun and enjoying the state (of utah)?

    Thanks!

  • What should I major in?

I like math, but I don't like the logical part of math.

I like equations, but I don't really like story problems (I just skim for numbers and plug them in)/

    I like numbers, but I don't like letters (x, y, z, a , b , c....etc).

I liked physics (because of the equations, and the teacher made it so you didn't really have to read deep into it), and I haven't ever taken chemistry, and I liked the math part of biotechnology.

I like math, I am just not a very logical person

I am VERY creative and artistic (but I don't like doing art on computers)

I like sorting things (but I wouldn't want to do that all day)

I am NOT good at 3-d thinking

I DON'T WANT a math degree, I want something useful....it just seems like every degree that is available is either

    *disgusting (medical)

    *confusing(anything involving logical thinking)

*Out of style (think public sector)

    *Not usable (liberal arts)

What should I do with my life!!!
