  • Hi guys, need help with factorisation problem.?

Hi, so I'm trying to get my head around factorisation and so on. I know how to find factors of a given number and how to find the sum of it's factors through prime factorisation. What I'm trying to find out is how to calculate the original number, if the only thing I have is the sum of it's factors. I simply can;t just reverse the same process, as I lack the original number, so I don't know what the factors are themselves, so I can't do the prime factorisation to find the number. Any ideas how to go about this problem?

  • What is the lowest rating on scoville scale you can expect from a home grown Bhut Jolokia pepper?

I've just gotten a Bhut Jolokia plant, put it in the ground and water it regularly. It'll have a lot of sun, so I expect it to be quite good. As I know that not many peppers that grow are as strong as the pepper can possibly get, what is the usual or average scoville rating of Bhut Jolokia peppers. I know what is the strongest you can possibly get, just don't know how far usual home grown ones go...

  • What is an "electoral orchestra" ?

Hi there. I have noticed an expression I am not sure about. "...when the musicians from the disbanded electoral orchestras at Innsbruck and Düsseldorf assembled at Mannheim" and I can't seem to find out, what in the name of baby Jeezus that "electoral orchestra" means. Is it something with being chosen as orchestras, or are the musicians chosen for the orchestra, or is it something I'm missing entirely? Any insight and help will be appreciated.

  • I'm looking for a good erotic movie.?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a good movie with strong erotic vibe and lots nudity. But it needs to be a genuinely good movie with a proper story and decent actors. Something along the lines of Showgirls from 95 or similar. A lot of nudity wanted and the more explicit, the better. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

P.S.: Story driven porn is acceptable, if nothing else pops out, but in that case it needs to be a REALLY good story driven porn. Cause let's face it, even those kind of porn movies, that have a story, have almost no story and atrocious acting :)

  • Is training a sore muscle safe, advisable or dangerous?

This is one reason, why I hate the mighty "Interwebs". There is so much misinformation going on, that someone looking for genuine information has a hard time sifting through it and knowing what is actually true and what is not. I just started a body weight workout on Wednesday and as I'm a fat fu*k, naturally I'm sore all over the body. That is cool, I knew that would happen and was expected. Now my question, as stated: Is it ok, advisable, or plain dangerous, to train a sore muscle? I have found several pieces of information and just as I feared, the opinions varied greatly. One said - soreness is a result of lactic acid buildup and a workout while sore, will help the muscle get rid of it, what should help with the soreness, plus will build the muscle further. Other opinion I found disagreed strongly with this, saying that lactic acid is removed after one hour from the muscle and the soreness is due to the micro trauma to the muscles, which actually causes the muscles to rebuild and rebuild stronger (which constitutes the actual muscles getting stronger after workout) and that you should NEVER workout a sore muscle. A third opinion said, that the soreness is calcium molecule leakage from the muscle fibers, as well as an accumulation of histamines, potassium, prostaglandins and local edema and that the sensation of pain and soreness comes due to the pressure of localized edema (fluid retention) on nerve endings, not by the muscle damage itself.

Some say that I should NEVER train a sore muscle, saying that if it is sore, it means it is still rebuilding and the training will have not only no effect, but negative effect. Some say that I should definitely train a sore muscle, that it is the best way to get rid of the soreness and that it will help. And some say that while the muscle is sore, but not sore to the touch and I have the full range of movement, light training will help get rid of the soreness and hard training should be avoided.

So if there is anyone who actually knows which is the truth and can actually back it up by real hard facts, please let me know (including the background) because I am sick of sifting through numerous fitness and non fitness pages finding several different opinions. By the time I got here, I completely lost touch to what is actually true, cause I read about 15 different opinions on this and everyone is convinced they are right...

  • Any workout instructor in the house? Need help.?

Hi guys. I need help with a workout plan. I'm a 28 year old male, 181 cm (5'11''), 110 kg (242 lbs) and need to get in shape. I have trained before, but I never lasted - Just as fast as I gain interest in things, I loose it fast too. I've decided finally that I need to seriously get in shape, cause while I'm not a complete fatty blob, it's just not good in any conceivable way. While my strength is not bad, endurance is virtually non existent. My neck and back is in a bad shape and I need to make it better. I decided I wanna do a year's workout - start before Christmas and finish next Christmas as a present for myself :) The only thing I can say is in a relatively good shape are my legs, cause I ride a bicycle quite a lot - made around 1700 km this year.

I don't have any bodybuilding equipment aside from an old but perfectly functional rowing machine, an incline bench for sit ups and a pair of small 4 kg dumbbells, so I was thinking of doing the brunt of the training in calisthenics. Anyway I've heard that body weight training should be very effective and more natural for the body, than weight lifting. I don't have any money to spare at the moment, so a gym is out of the question. I am however planning to make myself some training equipment later, but that'll be mostly bars and maybe some pulley systems. It's easy to make and you don't require much material for it.

I have looked around the interwebs for a workout plan, but most websites hold just some tips and so on. I would need someone, who knows calisthenics and other types of training to help me with a comprehensive and complete workout plan. I need to have a concrete plan I can hold on to, so I don't stop after two months after loosing interest. I could go get a professional to cook something up for me, but again, not a single buck to spare at the moment, so I have to rely on information I can get for free...

So if there's a workout instructor out there, who's willing to help me create a complete workout plan from scratch, something I can rotate for a year, I'd appreciate it very much. I know that If I start again without something specific and concrete, I'll just stop caring in a couple months and that mustn't happen this time... By the way my email is magicnet4242@gmail.com.

  • Is the Steve Wilkos show real?

Is there anyone who could tell me either from experience or from any kind of proof, how it looks with this show?

Cause my reasoning is this: Primarily it is a TV show. That means entertainment, that means business and money. When money and TV is involved, not much truth is to be expected obviously. Secondly I have checked around on internet and I have found various opinions. Some people say the people on the show get paid handsome money to be there, some say nobody gets paid anything. Some say they told them what to say, how to say it, when to say it, some say nobody told them anything. Some say they fly the people in from all over the country, some say they had to get there on their own. Some say that the stories actually have followups and some actually got to jail and stuff like that, some say they never actually got anyone any help.

And my biggest concern is the polygraph, or better known as "lie detector test". The show is based on a complete and blatant lie. They stated several times, that the polygraph is 98 percent accurate, which anyone with a bit of interest in police stuff will tell you is complete utter bulls*it. To explain for those who don't know - lie detector is not even admissible as court evidence. No one can ever use lie detector results as evidence in a court trial, because the US supreme court labeled them invalid, due to inaccuracy and inconsistency. Many studies have been made as to it's accuracy - the highest it ever scored was 85 percent, the rest was lower.

I mean liars can act pretty well a lot of times, but I am certain on a quite a big number of episodes the results must have been wrong. Basically as I said, the show is based on a blatant lie, so what do you think?

Do you think that the show is real and that the stories and people are real, and the results are real and the followups are real, just that the truth around the test has been "drawn prettier" than it actually is, or do you think it is a typical staged crappy show that has nothing to do with truth?

Opinions welcome, but I would appreciate any kind of supporting evidence.

  • Is this really stevia (Sweet Leaf)?

Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone could help me with a small problem. I wanted to grow some Stevia - Sweet Leaf to use instead of sugar, so I found a supplier online, ordered some seeds, planted it, grew it and here's my problem. I'm not sure whether what I got is actually stevia. I checked a few websites, found various pictures of stevia and some had similar leaves, some different. So please have a look at these pictures and see whether you can come up with what it is. The leaves are supposed to be sweet, well they aren't, not a bit... At least yet, but it's begginning to flower, so it should be sweet already.

  • Please suggest some good horror movies.?

Hi honored people of the infinite world in the interwebs :) I'm looking for some good horror movies. And when I say good I mean good. I'm looking for proper horror movies, where there is actually a story other than "a bunch of teenagers decide to go to [substitute for anything] only to get murdered by some [substitute for anything]". I want a horror movie, where the story actually takes time to fully develop (the moment I see that there is some horrory action in the first 10 minutes, I know it's gonna be a cheap **** movie), where the characters are at least somewhat believable and where not the only way to make it "horrory" are gory deaths and a BOO! moment where a gory looking something jumps out from behind a corner, especially after you've known for 2 minutes, it's gonna be there. I hate useless movies like the hills have eyes, or similar gorefests, Gothica and similarly predictable BOO fests and such. I'm looking for Horrors with good story, atmosphere, little as possible computer special effects (not necessarily, but too many just ruin the film most of the time)... I know there aren't many movies that will fit all my criteria, just hope there will be some that meet at least some :)

Please if anyone knows of a GOOD proper horror movie, he/she thinks others, who like quality should watch, please suggest. I love paranormal and extraterrestrial topics, if they are well handled...

    Thanks in advance

  • What are some good fantasy books/series?

I'm a passionate fantasy reader and am looking for a new book or series of books. I'd like something not childish, the more serious, the better. I've lately read the Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist (which was brilliant), just finished the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. If anyone knows of anything as good or better or at least similar, I'd appreciate it.

P.S.: Oh and please don't mention Tolkien, Pratchett... They are regulars in my hands and I have read almost all, they have written... ;)

  • Why does everyone diss the ending of the Mass Effect trilogy???!?

My question is simple - why do you think everyone hates the Mass Effect 3 ending? What is the problem and why? For me it is all great and the ending is good as well. I'm not sure what everyone expected... That Shepard would live through that as well and live happily ever after or what..?

  • Looking for a book I read a long time ago.?

Hi there guys. I'm hoping someone has read it as well. It was a fantasy/sci fi book, I read a long time ago. The worst thing I don't remember the name of the book or the author. I vaguely remember it was supposed to be about some people travelling to a planet somewhere(or maybe travelling on the planet to some place) to find some mythical creature of sorts, that was supposed to either grant a wish or something similar. I'm not sure if some of them died or just went away, but one guy I think found some kind of primitive people who lived there and he found out that in the end they somehow worshiped this creature as a god. The thing is I remember only vaguely some flashbacks of its plot and that is it. It could have been a sort of short story, or just a short fantasy book. I know this is not much to go on, that is why I've been trying to find it a for few years now with no luck so far. If anybody would know of anything at least remotely similar, please let me know, but so far I haven't found anybody who would remember it. My hopes are not too high, but then again better to try then do nothing... :)
