For the past couple of weeks, the volume control icon in the notification area on my computer has been telling me off and on that no playback device is installed. It's a laptop, and the speakers are built in. It doesn't even do it continually. Then, when the volume finally recognizes that it has speakers, the volume control is next to unresponsive. Every time I try to either use the shortcut buttons on my keyboard or use the volume control on the screen to change the volume or try to turn off mute, it freezes and won't respond. I am extremely tired of this and am looking for any kind of solution. All i want to do is listen to a song!

This is just a matter of curiosity. After all, both are accomplished hunters and each has their pros and cons. Opinions and informed answers are welcome!
