For the past 5 years my whole state tax refund has been taken as a result of a debt with the motor vehicle administration. Last year they got the remainder of their money and sent me the remaining refund with a letter stating debt satisfied and paid in full.

However this year I filed on the 18th, accepted that evening at 6:30. They claim 72 - 96 hours to get processed and direct deposit. Clearly it has been longer than that, but upon calling they told me there is no delays, errors, or interceptions,but couldn't explain why it's been 9 days.

Anyone ever have a similar state issue?? Maryland in particular??

For those who have this status have any of you called the irs and asked if you have a DD date, or any signs of processing delays??

From what I am gathering if you filed and were accepted after 11am on the 18th you have a better chance of getting your refund sooner than those who got accepted before 11 am and during hub testing

I would like some help in trying to figure this all out since answers with the IRS are hit and miss.

Okay question is....... What day did you file? when was it accepted?? When did the WMR first have info for you?? and has it changed since then??

Mine was filed the 14th, had to resubmit on the 17th due to some issue, accepted the 18th around 3 pm. WMR had info on the morning of Friday the 20th giving me the status of by Feb 7th and has remained that way since.

I keep reading through all the questions and the only definitive DD date I am seeing that was updated is 1/24. Has anyone got a DD of 1/23, 1/25, 1/26 or 1/27. I keep hearing that the IRS is using more than one system to process returns, and that one of those is capable of putting out refunds daily Monday - Friday. If this is the case just wondering why no one who has checked WMR or called the IRS automated number or spoke with a live person gotten any date other than 1/24?

For those who got the resubmission required status this morning and fixed it, have any of you be accepted by the federal or state branches?? Just curious as to what, if any delays this has caused. For those that filed last week and have pending status have any of yours updated to accepted yet??

Taxact status went from awaiting acceptance last night to resubmission required. The status under it still says valid return received and being processed. Please wait 24 -48 hours. While I do understand that the IRS did not start accepting returns until today, I did submit on Saturday and all weekend and yesterday it was awaiting acceptance. The resubmission required is throwing me off because it doesn't say rejected, or give a reason as to why. Anyone else having this issue and able to get answer through taxact?? I have emailed them and about to call, just wondering if anyone else has this issue???
