I'm on a shoe-string budget, fulltime work, fulltime school, and 4 kids. Constantly trying to find ways to cut back and maintain a healthy-ish diet that doesn't require I put a lot of time into making meals as most of my days revolve around work and sleep. Also, there's the boredom factor of cheap and easy to make food. I guess beggar's can't be choosers though? Seriously though, if I knew sustaining a diet of Raman noodles 3+ times a day was not just cheap, but healthy too, well then, problem solved. Sodium intake is kind of an issue for me though, so options are low. I guess just plain white rice???

I multiplied the logs and came up with log2(x^2+x-2)=2. I changed that to an exponential expression: 2^2=x^2+x-2. Now what? If I solve for "x", I get x^2+x=6. That doesn't seem to be enough, or just wrong?

Logarithms section: use 2 decimal places if necessary. I'm retardedly stuck; any help will be appreciated! Please include steps. I'm looking for the answer, to be sure, but I'd like to learn how overall.

I feel I hydrated enough, ate a light breakfast 45 minutes prior to working out, a gatorade afterwards to help replenish what I sweated out (and I sweat a lot, always have). It's been about a year and a half since I've worked out hard, so I want to chalk all of this up to being out of shape and maybe dehydration, but it's not just nausea and fatigue. It's headaches, sore throat, and body aches the last 16 hours too, similar to flu like symptoms? What the hell is wrong with me? I should probably mention I started a new martial arts class, am overweight by about 30lbs, and am in my early thirties. Feel like I'm not bouncing back as quickly as I should as in times past.

I ended up with 15(x+3) over 5(x+3)^2. Cancel out one set of (x+3) from both the top and the bottom and that leaves me with 15 over 5(x+3). So my question is, can I reduce the 5 and 15 to make it 3 over (x+3) or just leave it as is? Thanks!

I know the solution set is (1,3,2) but I keep coming up with fractions when I attempt to eliminate the second variable and solve for two equations after having solved the initial set of 3 equations. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!
