I lke the look of travertine or another 'stoney' look, i DO NOT like the look of granite. Granite tends to look to 'man made' to me. I hear travertine is too pourous and easily cracked for the kitchen...what else will look very stone like without being pourous. IS it possible to use some type of actual flooring stone stuff and put a thick glaze over it?

Tonight is begining to be horrible. She won't sleep. I can not convince her to go to sleep. I have tried every Nanny 911 trick I have ever seen or heard of. I have established a routine, dinner at 7pm, bath at 745ish, bed at 830. She gets a bed time story and one lullaby. Then she wants to sing and read to me, then she wants to pat my back so I can sleep.....and it goes on and on. So I decided that I will read one story and leave, I am in the room across the hall (computer room) And she is staring at the cieling talking to herself like a crazy lady. This has been going on for over an hour now. She cannot see me, she has a very small night light. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I DO?!?!? She isn't getting out of bed or running around or anything. This has been her routine for almost a week now.

My 2 yr old daughter will run around the house naked and potty in the potty just fine, but if she has on panties or a pullup, she will potty in it. Some times she will put on her pull up, JUST to go poopie in it....ANY ADVICE?!?!
