Monitor power-on confusion?
I don't have much experience with desktop monitors (since I was younger), and I recently plugged in a ViewSonic G90f CRT into a computer I recently built. Whenever I turn on the computer and then press the power button on the monitor, it turns on, says OFF MODE IN 5 SECONDS, and turns off. I don't really know what to do to make the monitor do its job. It's probably obvious, but as I said before, I don't have much experience with these. Thanks in advance to whoever finds a solution!
By the way, I'm sure it's not a problem with the monitor or the computer. Everything is working correctly and sending signals and plugged in right. The monitor worked a couple of days ago on a different computer. I think I'm just pressing buttons wrong.
