Packaging seldom tell us where things are made any more and the floss I found was made in China. Looking for floss and threaders not made in China. Product web sites haven't been much help either. Thanks.

I posted a question that had a header with "Is Obama Poised to Cede US Sovereignty?" and had a link to a video on youtube and asked people to watch the video and then give their opinion. I did not offer my own opinion so no one knew whether I agreed or disagreed with it. Many just assumed they knew my thoughts and some of the answerer's were quite nasty. That was it. So what do you think was the perceived violation? Anyone know?

The sheriff's department now wants to call social services on the parents of the kid they thought was in the balloon. They're claiming it's because the parents are storm chasers and are worried about the welfare of the kids. Think they've gone too far?

A vehicle getting 15 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 800 gallons a year of gasoline.

A vehicle getting 25 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 480 gallons a year.

So, the average Clunker transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year.

They claim 700,000 vehicles - so that’s 224 million gallons per year. That equates to saving a bit over 5 million barrels of oil per year. 5 million barrels of oil is about ¼ of one day’s US consumption.

5 million barrels of oil costs about $350 million dollars at $75/bbl.

Our Government “gave” (borrowing from the Chinese to further the indebtedness of future generations) each Clunker Trader $4,500 per car for 700,000 transactions which cost US Taxpayers $3,150,000,000 – not including Washington’s astounding Administrative costs.

So, we all contributed through our taxes to spend more than $3 billion to save $350 million.

They’ll probably do a great job with health care though.

According to them all of the people, including the blacks, who attended the huge protest did so not because they objected to runaway government spending but because the pres is black. Agree or disagree?

obama is hosting a dinner to celebrate an islamic holy day saying how much they've contributed to the U.S. Will other religions also get a dinner to celebrate their holy times? What exactly have muslims contributed that is so much more than others that they rank dinner at the white house?

I see adds for a women only health club where I live but men are no longer allowed the same freedom. Years ago a big stink was made about women not being admitted to a man's club so it went to court and the women got legal permission to enter their club because that was supposed to make things "equal". So if women are so hot to have things equal why do they get "women only" places and the men, by law, can't. Where's the equality in that?

She was walking home from work on a busy street. Unfortunately she was distracted and didn't notice that a guy stopped just long enough to grab her and throw her in the car. She tried to fight him so he beat the hell out of her and broke her hand. This is the second time she's been raped. Both times a stranger. Walking by a tv and saw what looked like a court trial. The little I heard was about (I think) 2 men having broken into a house and holding 5? people hostage. They put 3 brothers in a closet and kept the girls then had the 3 men come out and????? Anyone know what this was?
