Is it an offence to obstruct someone's drive?
A person keeps parking in the road exactly opposite my drive, this makes it extremely difficult to leave and enter my drive.
It is actually dangerous in that the attention that would normally be given to other traffic and pedestrians is distracted, when trying to avoid this persons car.
10 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoI can't access my Yahoo email, my computer just sticks in access mode.?
It doesn't matter what browser I use, I can get into My Yahoo no problem but as soon as I try to access my email, in any way, the action is initiated but access just freezes.
I hate Yahoo! there is important information I need to access and can't.
Another thing there does not seem to be anyway to report such faults, hence my general appeal.
Thanks in advance to any lifesaver out there.
2 AnswersOther - Yahoo Mail1 decade agoWhat is the Import Duty, Import Vat and Excise Duty position regarding importing goods from Australia?
I am an agent for a small Australian Company who wish to supply some sports equipment to fill a market need in the UK and would like to know, in simple layman's language, the fiscal position.
The total retail value of the imports would be less than £10,000 a year, each shipment having a sale value of about £1,000.
I don't think there will be any excise duty but would like as detailed an explanation of the Import Duty and Import VAT as possible.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

4 AnswersZoology1 decade agoDo I have the right to dual citizenship on the grounds of my mothers nationality as an Austrian/German?
My mother was born in the Tyrol in Austria, which was later subsumed into Germany, she served in the German armed forces and was a POW of the Russians for some years.
She married my father a British Serviceman and moved over to the UK.
Do I have an automatic right to German or Austrian citizenship?
I would like it to be so when I think of how she suffered after the war in both Russia and Britain.

18 AnswersEngineering2 decades agoHow much rent to charge?
My cousin is hoping to have an 18 year old French boy stay with her and her family for a year whilst he attends the local language school to learn English. He will stay in her house as a member of family and she will feed him and do his laundry, just as she would for her sons. This is in Cardiff. Her problem is.....what should she charge him for staying with her? His parents are very well off. What is the going rate in Cardiff for this, please?
16 AnswersEtiquette2 decades agoHow much rent to charge?
An 18 year old French boy is coming to stay with a friend of mine. He will be studying English at a local college and will stay with my friend as a member of the family. She will do his washing and make his food and all that, just like as if he was a part of the family. The problem is, she doesn't know how much to ask him for, in terms of his board and keep, and being British, this is a very delicate area. This is in the Cardiff area. His parents are very well off. What sort of money per month should she ask for? He will be staying for a year with her.
