My boss wants to deny me vacation benefits because I am a part-time employee but I read somewhere that working more than 30 hours a week makes you a full-time employee. I work in New York State 31 hours a week. I know there are no laws that force an employer to give you vacation benefits but there has to be a standard.

I started dating this guy 8 months ago, he completely swept me off my feet. He told me how pretty I was, how much he loved me, how he couldn't live his life without me, all the time. He was always all over me kissing me and hugging me, telling me he wanted to marry me and have kids. Now he doesn't do that stuff anymore, I'm the one that does all that stuff now and he just looks at me and smiles. We get along ok; talking about normal things daily and we moved in together a couple months ago. Is he just getting lazy because he thinks he doesn't have to try hard anymore or did he fall out of love?

and i just cant get them to stop fighting. Now we are moving to a new place and my roommate has a 3 month old female black lab. We have tried bringing them all around each other to see if they will get along but the cats still fight and now the dog barks at the cats and chases them. Any suggestions to get them to stop fighting before we move to the new place?

I like books that come in series like that and I loved the Harry Potter books. Any suggestions for what we can obsess over now that we can't read any more Harry Potter?

I would have liked to know what happened with their last year at Hogwarts, would they have had to do it over again and what did our main characters do for the summer! Since we wont get to read about it in the next book. I had more but cant remember right now. I was a very good ending though.

I've heard some pretty bad ones: One mile over the limit, just for having a bad cop no donut sticker on a car...
