  • How do I get a chat window (or tab) from Yahoo Mail?

When Yahoo Messenger web version migrated into mail it became "buggy." Now I cannot get the old web version at all and Messenger is not opening in my mail window. It used to show up in the left menu between folders and applications but it does not load there any more. How do I get to chat?

  • How can I access the Messenger chat log from a computer I did not use to chat?

I have a Yahoo account. I sign in and chat from home on Yahoo Messenger. I chat from my office on Yahoo Web-Messenger. Both chats are archived. Is there any way to access the Messenger chat from my office; or to access the Web-chat from my home. Can I access the chat archive from a computer other than the one used chatting.

  • How do I combine or merge Yahoo Messengers.?

When I go to Yahoo Mail I have a little Messenger window that opens up but I also have Yahoo Messenger with a desktop icon that opens a Messenger window on my desktop. If someone leaves a message in one location, it doesn't show up in the other. How do I combine them so all Yahoo Messenger activity is in one program.

I am running Windows Vista. When I try to open Messenger from the Yahoo window, it takes me to the download screen every time even though I have completed the download and the program is in place. How do I get Yahoo to stop trying to download and just open the Messenger program?

  • In setting up a home wireless network can I leave the main computer connected to the cable?

I have a desktop computer with Comcast cable internet. I want to set up a home wireless network for family member's and visitor's laptops to work in other rooms but I want to leave my desktop connected to the cable. How do I set up that connection? It appears that the cable from the cable modem has to connect to either my desktop or to a router but not both. Is there another way?

  • Yahoo Messenger not opening?

I have a new Dell Inspiron running Windows Vista. I have downloaded Yahoo Messenger but when I click one of the shortcuts in the tray or on the desktop there is no response, no program opens, no window appears, nothing. If I go to the Yahoo webpage and click on Messenger, the webpage takes me to the download page again and if I click there I get a message that I have the new Messenger already on my computer but it still does not open up to either a Messenger window or to a sign-on window.

How should I proceed to get Yahoo Messenger to work?

  • What happened to Carl's Jr. chicken?

I used to love the chicken strips at Carl's Jr. Not the stars, which are nasty little compressed chicken meat, but the strips which were actual chunks and strips of chicken breast. But not the local Carl's Jr. is serving that awful compressed chicken in uniformly shaped chunks and they are undercooked, greasy, the breading is horrible and they taste about as appealing as Crisco. Is this just local or have others experienced the same food trauma at the chain nation-wide???

  • Home Computer network set-up.?

I want to share a DSL internet connection with computers in probably 5 locations in my home (including availability for guests in the guest bedroom.) I was thinking about a wireless network but have been told it will be unreliable and slow. Ethernet cables have been suggested with ethernet plug-ins in each room, but that's a lot more work and more expensive. Does anyone have advice on the better approach over-all? Is the ethernet "worth it" in the long view?
