I have 2 documents. The first is a list of 400 names. Just a plain list, no table etc.

I need to create a printed name place for each one of those 400 names.

So I have another word document with all the details on (in a table with the NAME being the only content in one of the cells)

Is there a way I can automate the process of copying the first entry, pasting it into a cell in a table on doc two, then printing that page

Then copying the next name down, pasting into the same cell (over writing the previous name) and printing,

Copy name 3, past, print, copy,past print, etc etc repeat repeat. This is somthing I have to do on a bi-monthly basis, and I'd love to automate it.

Using MS Word 2010. I have ZERO knowledge of Macros, VB, Db's so any technical anaswers please be kind and answer with as much detail as possible!

Does anyone know how I can add a "Save and Print" button in an Excel document, that when clicked will... yup, you guessed it... Save and the Print. On saving I need the value of a cell to also increase by 1.

For example, lets say this is an invoice template, that i fill in all the details. It has a refernce in cell "A1" of 0001

When I click the "save and print" button, it saves automatically as 0001, and prints a copy, and then closes. When I next open the document, it will have all the data the same, except for cell A1 which will read 0002. ect etc.

Any help / templates would be thankfully receievd, and I'd be eternally gratefull! (using excel 2003)

Ok, so i use a xbox 360 to stream media to my TV - XBOX had red ring of death today. It's 3 years old, and has been repaired twice - i don't think it will make it another time!

I will get another xbox in the future, but i like the idea of a separate media player (xbox is very noisy when on, we have to crank the sound right up to get past the noise of the fans!)

I used cabled connection, as opposed to WIFI so what ever i get must have LAN connection. I want to be able to retain my freedom of files (used TVersity on xbox, so could play pretty much anything) so ability to play AVI, etc is important.

I also store all my media on a NAS. I'd like which ever replacement I get to have a fairly simple ininterface and be able to stream from NAS. Im not too fused about internet on TV, just streaming my movies etc.

Looking at a Sumvision Cyclone, or a Ryan playon, or possibly Dune???

Any ideas / feedback would be helpfull. Thanks

This is the only size i ever crop to, and i'd like to know if there is a way to have this set as default to save me changing it every time I open LR.

I have a very simple table in access (2003), ie firstname, lastname, address, postcode etc.

Id like to have an extra line of fullname

so that when in a form, once first name is entered, the first name appears in fullname box, and when surname is entered the surname appears alongside.

The reason for this is that im not very good at access, and id like to be able to run a quiery, along the lines of

Like "*" & [Seach by Full Name] & "*"

so i can search first and last names.

Id like to keep the table to first and last names, so i can mail merge Mrs lastname etc. but i would love to be able to search fullname.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? I have googled but i kinda get lost by the millions of complictaed answers!

I would like to be able to view several sheets at a time in excel - can this be done?

Basically id like sheet 1 to be my "master" sheet with the grand totals of all my other data / sheets displayed. Id ideally like this to be on the right half of the screen, while sheet 2, 3, 4 etc can be displayed in the left half. Can this be done?? Any help appreciated!

Ok, so ive got a 64 bit Windows 7, running on a reasonably new HP AMD dual core. i cant get any sound to play, from either front or rear jacks. Things Ive tried;

Updated drivers - Windows update says all up to date

Device Manager - Dev Man say all working (but it does say speakers not plugged in)

Tried new speakers

Checked Windows Features in Ctrl Panel and all media features enabled.

Checked on-board audio is enabled in BIOS

Checked BIOS IRQ settings.

Checked the M/Board ports, by running an XP OS and sound is fine.

Reinstalled Win7 - no difference

Bought a PCI creative soundlab card - same issues - just states speakers not plugged in.

Installed Drivers in Safe Mode, and compatibility mode - no difference.

Im at a bit of a loss. I have 3 other PC's with Win7 64bit pro running on them all, and i work daily imaging and installing OS's on PC's, I have never in the last 5 years had as much trouble as this.

Any ideas? As I said Ive tried the obvious, any help would be greatly appreciated. Nothing helpful on MSKB, just the usual "try this driver" etc

Can anyone help me create a batch file, that once run, will turn on the Guest Account, and also add it to the administrators group. If these have to be two different files, then that is fine. I'd also like another batch file that turns the guest account off (but leaves it in admin group)

Xbox 360 has just been off to Germany for repair (3 red lights)

Its been back about a week, but ever since reciveing it back it will not sign in automatically to xbox live. I have to go to my profile and sign in manually.

Also, my family settings get lost each time i turn it off - ie, the pass code you can set for the timer; it doesnt seem to save the code or any settings.

One more thing. My controllers no longer charge via the usb charger. They work fine when plugged in, but do not charge.

All network settigns are as before, and the hdd is plugged in as normal.

Is the xbox stuffed, or a i missing a simple setting somewhere?

I have a old(ish) Buffalo Link Station. I use this to save movies on, which are then streamed around the house (ie - to xbox, and 2 kids computers)

Recently, my kids have been opening the shortcut folders on their desktops, and deleting stuff from the NAS.

How can I set the NAS drive up so they have ACCESS ONLY to the files on the NAS and no Read/write access?

On the NAS I have access restrictions enabled, and myself set to read / write and the two kids set to read only, but the restrictions dont work, the kids can still read / write, instead of just read.

We are on the same workgroup, and the NAS is set to Delegate Authority to LinkStation. I have tried it set to delegate aucthority to External SMB Server, but nothing i try is working.

Any simple would be ace, and pls dont just say check google! Ive tried google and couldnt find what i need. Ive also tried some buffalo forums .

Hi, i'm just wondering if the Archos 605 (only 4gb model) is any good as a media player. I used to run a PC and touch screen monitor as a kind of jukebox in my living room. My kids now have the PC, and I would like a tablet PC or media player of some kind to replace the PC.

All it will be used for is audio out, not for video's ect. I can get hold of the 4gb model for £60 all inc.

I'd also like to know, can you stream music to it, from my main PC via wifi? And what OS does it run - does it have its own, or can i use XP?

For a charity walk, I'm not getting into serious hiking, but planning on Snowdon and Ben Nevis this year.

I need some help with an excel spreadsheet I am trying to sort out.

Basically, I would like all the following info to be displayed on 1 worksheet.

I need a spreadsheet with 20 different worksheets, with different data displayed on each. Lets call them A,B,C etc

Now I'd also like a main page, I'll call this worksheet Home

On the Home worksheet, I'd like a drop down menu, with the 20 different worksheet names on it (so drop down menu / list with A,B,C etc)

When when i click on any of the list itmes (A,B,C) i'd like the relevent data from that sheet to be displayed on my Home worksheet, while also keeping the menu at the top. ie a bit like freezing panes, with new data (worksheet data) being displayed in the bottom half of the screen, while the menu / list stays at the top.

Does that make any sense to anyone? Basically a way to view each worksheets data, while staying on the home worksheet, and having one menu to quickly and easily view each different worksheet.

Ive tried various template sites, inc microsoft and ive googled for similar, but with no luck.

Reason it has to be this way is eventually, i will have approx 150 different sets of data i want to view, without the need to scroll through all the sheets at the bottom.

Any help would be wondefull, templates made and posted to net or emailed would be even better.

I have a yamaha psr k1, with no manual. Can anyone tell me how to get the record function to work please. I want to play a song live, and record it to a SM card which is in the slot at the rear.

I also want to record a backing track of just two chords. Is there a easy way to record the two chords, and have them play on repeat, to save me recording a whole 5 mins worth?

I am looking to spend between 800 to 1000 on a 125 cruiser. I have seen a nice suzuki marauder on a 2002 reg for £800, or a brand new (OTR) XT125 - i think its by Lifan for £1000.

Now, I know lifan have a very bad reputaition. What i want to know is, which bike will be more reliable and more fuel efficent for me to travel 4 miles (8 per day) to and from work. Thats all i need it for. I need something that will start in the morning and get me accross town. I know suzuki are more reliable, but with this being 6 years old, comapred to a new Lifan XT, which is the best deal??

2002 Suzuki Marauder 125 = £800 with no tax,

or

2008 Lifan XT125 = £999 OTR, + helmet.
