  • wht kind of epoxy to mix with river rock for a patio?

I saw on DIY network that you can mix epoxy wiht rover rock to make a patio floor around pool area. It didn't say what kind of epoxy. I went to lowes and asked them but they didnt' seem to know what I was talking about. I did notice two types of epoxy that they carried. One was an epoxy paint that goes over concrete (it was gray colored). The other was a gallon of "lock down epoxy". Is that lock down epoxy what I need to mix with the river rock? Or is there some other kind. If so, what is the exact name of the stuff. I think it has a slight brown tinge color to it and it basically gets mixed with the river rock and smashed down flat to harden into a flat looking river rock floor. Also, about how much epoxy is mixed with how much river rock to harden to a good consistency? Thanks in advance.

  • how do I make a rock patio?

We pored about a 1 inch thick layer of concrete in a fenced in area around our pool last year. I wanted to spice it up a little, so I decided to gather a bunch of rocks (about 1 inch thick and averaging about 2 feet by 3 feet wide rocks) out of the creek that runs by my house. These are flat rocks that are perfect for making a rock patio around the pool. My question is this..what do I use to "plaster" them together around the pool. keep in mind they will be layed over the already there concrete. Do I use a grout or a concrete mix to hold them together and fill in the gaps? If so, what is a good kind to use and is it possible to get a tan color grout or concrete (whichever is advised to use). Thanks in advance for your suggestions. The area we want to cover is about 10 feet by 16 feet.

  • do I include earned income for Nov, Dec if I didn't get paid til January?

I started my own business at the end of October 2010. I saw 2 clients in November and 2 in December. However, it takes a while for medicaid (who pays me) to process your pay. I did not get paid for those 2 months until January 2011. So, do I include those 2 months of pay for the year 2010 or do I wait and include them in the 2011 year since I got paid in 2011?

  • can several people download a "word" program CD?

Me and a friend was wanting to buy a "word" program CD to add "word" to our computers. My question is .. can we do this? I know with the virus cleaner CD that she got, once used, it couldn't be used again...we saw that the word program is like $150 and we were trying to save money and maybe go in half for it to use on both our computers. Can you do that or will we both have to buy one?

  • tongue tied baby...what to do?

My baby is 2 months old and I have noticed he has a tied tongue. It doesn't go all the way to the tip, but it's close. he breast feeds fine, but I notice when he sticks his tongue out, he can't get it beyond his lips in the center. It sticks out on the sides like a lizard tongue. My pediatrition said kids sometimes outgrow it and it may not affect him. She said to wait until he is older to see if it affects his eating baby food and speech. My question is, do you all know if I just let it go til later when he has more "thicker" blood vessels in it, will it be worse to wait to possibly get it clipped (If needed). Or should I just press for my doctor to do it now. I'm really worried if I risk it and wait it will be harder to recover and harder for him speech wise. But I'm afraid he might "outgrow" it and not even need it. Do any of you have kids with a tongue tie that you just let it go and it didn't affect them with eating or speech?

  • what is considered bad quality breast milk?

First, I am breast feeding my 8 week old baby. The first week home, his poop looked yellow and seedy, like breast fed baby's poop is supposed to look like. Then, it started looking mucousy and brownish/greenish. I thought that maybe he had a virus, but it just continued. I don't drink alcohol or caffiene, nor do I take any medications, so that can't be it. I took him to the doctor and she said it is probably something I'm eating. I tried cutting out milk products, etc, but no change. Then I called his doctor and they told me that he might be getting too much foremilk. So, I pumped out some of the clear formilk and let him nurse out the hindmilk (thicker, whiter looking milk). His poop continued to look the same and he continued to gain average. However, he just didn't seem satisfied and he would just scream every time he pooped like it was hurting him. Not to mention it was very explosive and frothy as it came out (like when you have diarrhea yourself and it burns your bottom when it comes out). Anyways, I talked with a few older ladies that said sometimes women can have poor quality breastmilk and that I should try mixing formula with breastmilk. So, I tried this for the past week and it's made a world of difference. His poop looks seedy again and he seems so content and doesn't scream at all now when he poops. I just put 2 parts of my pumped breast milk with 1 part mixed up goodstart formula. (I work so I have to pump my milk for his daily feedings). So, I am wondering if maybe I have what they call "poor quality" breast milk". I'm going to keep pumping and mixing it with formula for as long as I have milk, but I honestly don't think giving him my milk alone was nutritious enough. Has anyone heard of this happening? How common is it? What causes it to be of poor quality if it really does happen? Could I not be eating enough or could it be hereditary?

  • did you pass gas or poo during delivery?

I am currently 6 1/2 months pregnant and I have heard of women pooing during delivery. I saw on a special on TV that like 80% of women do it. I am so paranoid I'll start farting or poo when I'm pushing him out. Did any of you poo or pass gas when you were pushing out your baby? Please share your stories.

  • is this a boy or girl?

I got this taken at 14 1/2 weeks. If this doesn't work, I'll try to figure out another way to post both pics. I got next week for my 21 1/2 week ultrasound to see what it is for sure. The baby kep putting it's hand over it's crotch, so I don't know if this is it's fingers, a hamburger bun (girl), or hot dog (boy). What are your opinions?

  • question about what week of pregnancy I'm in?

Hey ladies, I have a question about what week of pregnancy I'm in. I read online about the development of your baby each week (especially during the first trimester). My question is this. Right now I'm 7 weeks and 4 days. So, would that make me in the 7 weeks pregnant category with looking up babies development or would I be in my 8th week of development (since I've completed 7 weeks and am 3 days away from being 8 weeks from first day of last period).

Right now I'm looking in the 8 week development phase, is that where I should be, or am I ahead a week?

  • well ladies, it was a BFP this morning!!!?

Well, yesterday I took that dollar tree test (dipstick kind) during lunch break and I saw a faint line. I thought maybe it was an evaporation line. So, I took another one this morning and it was another faint line. So, I think it's a for sure deal. I'm pregnant!!! I'm gonna buy a more expensive one today and take it in the morning to wrap up along with a baby outfit for my boyfriend for Christmas. I'm so scared though because I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks along in 07. I hope this one sticks. Well ladies, wish me luck on this one and I hope I see more BFP's here. Love you guys and am sending baby dust your way!!!

  • OMG, I think Santa gave me my Christmas present..possible BFP?

Girls, I was supposed to start Sunday. Well, here it is Tuesday (2 days late for AF). For the past week, I've been feeling tugging sensation in lower stomach, my boobs over the weekend started to feel hard and firm up and really sore. I thought maybe it's stress why I didn't get Aunt Flow because I don't have the extra cervical mucus. As a matter of fact, I feel really dry for the past week down there. Well, I just went to the dollar tree and got one of those dip stick tests. I went home for lunch and took it and there appeared to be a very faint second line. I held it up to the window and light and after about 10 minutes when it started to dry some, the line appeared a little more clear. It is still positive and I am a little worried it is an evaporation line or something. But I'm gonna test again tomorrow morning and see what it does, and get a different brand to take over the weekend if aunt flow doesn't show up. I pray this is it!! I hope I got my Christmas wish. What are your experiences with these types of tests and what do you think the chances of it being an evaporation. I'm so on edge until I know for sure. I can't go to the doctor until January when my insurance kicks in to be checked, so I have to go by these home tests for now.

  • does your husband/boyfriend's know you come here on YA TTC?

Just wondering if your husbands/boyfriends know you come here on YA TTC forum to discuss all your experiences/questions about TTC. Mine personally doesn't know, but I haven't really thought about it to tell him. If you do tell him, how does he react?

  • how do doctors know your uterus is tilted?

When I check my cervix, it feels like it's off to the side a little bit and the opening is facing a little to that same side. I was wondering if this is what doctor's use to determine your uterus is tilted when they do a pap on you. At one of my paps a few years ago, my doc said I had a tilted uterus, so I wonder if that is how she determined it. Does anyone know how this is determined? Any cervix checkers out there whose cervix feels like it's not just straight up, or it is a little more on one side than the other?

  • dreaming I'm pregnant?

Girls, last night after we BD's and went to sleep, I woke up at like 1am from a dream that I was pregnant with twins and was telling him that they felt like they were in there fighting each other. He and I were laughing about it and talking to my tummy. It was so happy feeling. When I woke, I just started feeling like, maybe we did just conceive and that's God's way of telling me. Anyone have any stories of dreaming they were pregnant and really felt it deep down inside the moment of conception, later to find out that it was true. I will be starting my TWW tomorrow, so we'll see. I hope my instincts are right.

Baby dust to all of you!!!

  • is it too late now, cervix question?

OK, I told myself I wouldn't do the sign checking for ovulation this month because I've been obsessing over it. Well, here I go again, checking for ovulation. My guy has been out of town for a few days. He is coming home tonight. I checked myself this morning in the shower and my cervix felt low, soft, and sorry TMI, really cloudy wet CM. Does this mean I already ovulated or am I ovulating right now? Will it be too late to BD tonight if my cervix was like this this morning and we haven't gotten to try for the past 3 days that he's been out of town?
