Anyone else noticed how often the Shaadi ad comes up on Yahoo! Mail? It's like at least 50% of the ads that come after refresh is the Shaadi ad - sometimes even more.

Personally I'm a bit disturbed by their catchphrase "Get proposals in your inbox". Yikes!

I saw a flash Merc with personalised number YE 51 RUB. I'm just wondering what sort of person would splash out a couple of grand to advertise to the road-going public that she rubs (what does she rub I wonder?).

What other cheeky personalised plates have you seen, and what do you think it says about the owner?

How does McCain's slogan of "Country First" sit with the AIP's "Alaska First, Alaska Always" slogan (there's a pun to be made there somewhere...)? Patriotism vs. secession?

So my questions are:

1) Did the woman not mind being called a b1tch as much as she minds being called English?

2) I thought that "harassment" would constitute more than one incident? How can she be harassed over one bout of name calling?

...and get in the way of everyone else getting on and off the bus/train, even when there are lots of seats free?

I'd understand if they're only on for a short while (people who hop on buses for to get just to the next stop should really think about walking - but that's a different question), but most seem to just prefer to hog the the place and be absolutely thick skinned when people give them the evil eye.

But if the guy was in his room with his bicycle, and it was the cleaners who walked in on him, why was he put on the sex offenders register? Suppose the cleaners walk in on him having "normal" sex - would that result in him being put on the register as well?

Why was it seen as a sexually aggravated breach of the peace when he was in his own room? What was the problem - was it him trying to have sex in private?

...and legally, what's the difference between simulating sex with a sex toy and simulating sex with a bicycle that the guy was put on probation for it? (Not that I would do such a thing to the bike.. too much grease and sharp pointy bits on the sprockets..)

When you have certain surnames, why can't some people realise that there are certain names they shouldn't give their children.. like:

Shirley Knott (noo... really?)

Emille Sheikh (slimfast anyone?)

Nina Nannar (naanaa nanaaa naa.. oh, ok so she's a BBC news correspondent)

Can you think of any more?

Come on, she can't dance and to have her stay on when the likes of Gabby Logan and Penny Lancaster get booted off is disgraceful.

We're having a hard time trying to colour match between graphics on screen and print outs.

I know there are hand held devices that measure on-screen colour displays, but can this be used to calibrate printer output?

When something is advertised as carrying a "Lifetime Warranty", does this mean that the item is warrantied for its lifetime? Does this mean that if it breaks down, it's considered that it's at the end of its life and therefore the warranty expires?

Isn't it the same as saying something is guaranteed to work till it breaks down?

What do those people who slated him before now say about this? Do they think, bearing in mind some rather vitriolic opinions some people had then about Al Gore, that this de-values the Nobel Prize as a universal recognition for the service to mankind?

They've got groceries, clothes, electrical & electronics, furniture, car insurance, loans, credit cards, mobile phones and now, some sort of a comparison site.

Have they gone too far and grown too big?

I am not a UK national, but as a citizen and passport holder of a Commonwealth country, I am entitled to vote in local and general elections in the UK. What do you think about this?
