They start at the main trunk and then go all the way to the end of the limb. This is a young tree and is only about 6 foot tall. I have found several ladybugs also on the tree and thought maybe the bumps were the eggs of the ladybug. But I found pictures of the ladybug eggs and that is not what this is at all. I ran my fingers down the limb of one of the branches and the bumps came off and were soft and fillied with some kind of clear liquid. Can anyone help?

But now when I look for them I find things called photo scanners. Are they the same thing? And what is a good one without paying an arm and leg for it? I have a Compaq computer and mostly use HP stuff in the past. I would appreciate any help, thank you.
