  • Anyone good at scrambling names?

I'm trying to come up with name that can be unscrambled into other names. Like they did at the end of Shutter Island where Edward Daniels turned out to be Andrew Laeddis.

  • Does this sound worth writing? Avoiding cliches?

Okay, I'm trying to write a story, but I've never done anything this long or elaborate before. So far, my two main characters are brothers. They haven't seen each other in years because they currently live in different countries. The older brother was accused of killing their father and was labeled a criminal. The younger brother hates the older for what he's done, but the older still cares about the younger and just wants him to live a happy normal life even if he hates him.

The truth is that he was forced to kill their father for political reasons. Their father was leading a coup d'eta and those who new and were in favor of the current government ordered him to kill his father. When he refused, they told him if he didn't, they would as well as any "witnesses" meaning his mother and brother. He kept quite and took the blame to protect his remaining family.

I know it sounds really dark & heavy, but the whole story isn't that depressing. There are plenty of light moments through out.

So what does the public think? Keep going with it?

And if so, any farther plot recommendations? I'm still sorting out the details of the government corruption.
