  • Would you hire a wedding helper?

I'm thinking of starting my own business. I don't want to be considered a wedding consultant because they are normally over priced. What I am looking to do is to help the average bride cut cost. Instead of buying everything pre-made such as bows for pews and party favors and many other costly additives, I would like to help them find material and help them make the item and save a ton of money. Would anyone be interested in someone like this?

  • Baby Oatmeal vs. Regular Oatmeal.?

I have an 11 month old daughter who loves solid food. I was wondering if I could switch her to regular oatmeal like Quaker quick oats or if I should keep her on the baby oatmeal. and if I do give her regular should I grind it up some or is it fine the way it is and should it be the slow cook or the quick one minute oatmeal?

  • Need some help understand a bowel hernia?

My uncle is in the hospital and last night they told him he has a bowel hernia. I need to know what exactly this is and if there is another name for it. I need as much information and as soon as possible. He has had a kidney and pancreas transplant and so we have to be quick and take care of things before they affect other areas of his body. Any information would be helpful thank you.

  • I need a mathwizz to help me out?

Ok I have a 9x13 cake that I want to make into the U.S. flag. There are 13 stripes and I need to know how big the stripes would need to be to cover the cake. Then I need to know how big the blue square would need to be so I can put 50 stars on it. And if you can tell me how far apart the stars would need to be to fill the blue space. Thanks

  • Breastfeeing and formula feeding problems?

I just had my daughter last week and I was exclusively breastfeeding but she just hasn't seemed happy and this morning I couldn't even get any breast milk out (tried pumping and have been pumping so dad can feed her once in a while). I substituted with formula this morning and she was very happy. She actually was full when she was done eating. And hasn't been fussy till this afternoon when I fed her breast milk. I have been eating a bland diet and staying away from foods that I know could upset her stomach. Anyone else have the same problem? I still want to feed her breast milk because I know it's good for her but if it's making her fussy and I'm not producing enough I'm not sure I should keep doing so. Anyone have any suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thanks

  • What's if any difference between stripping membranes and stretching during late pregnancy?

I'm 40 weeks pregnant and I went to the doc's today. She said she was going to stretch me in hopes of helping me go into labor. She said it wasn't guarenteed but that it might help get me started. My question is is what is the difference between stripping the membranes and stretching or is there no difference at all.

  • Childbirth Classes?

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and my first childbirthing class is suppose to be tomarrow. I'm kind of undecided if I actually want to go or not. I know it would be good to go to learn the different techniques. But unfortunatly my husband had to have hernia surgery on Thursday and can't get around on his own yet. His dad offered to come over but I just don't think I can sit through a 5hr class and not be home taking care of him. Anyone have any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • How do I stop gaining so quickly?

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and last month I gained 6 pounds but I hadn't gained much before that because I was so sick so the doctor said that I was ok but I needed to make sure I didn't continue to gain that way. That was 10 days ago. According to my scale I have gained 5pds since the doctors. I'm not sure if my scale is exact with the doctors but I'm sure its close. I don't over eat. I eat healthy and drink milk and orange juice. I do have the occasional snack but I'm just not understanding why I'm gaining so quickly. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions it would be helpful...and yes I do exercise.

  • 21 weeks pregnant and baby is up all day and night help!?

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and she just won't sleep! Which intern makes me not sleep because my stomach is a playground when she is awake. I have tried music, rocking her, talking to her, reading a book, just relaxing, warm bath and hot decaf tea with lemon but nothing seems to calm her down enough so I can get a little sleep. Last night I only got 3 hours. Any suggestions on what else to try? My mom had the same problem with me but when I was in the womb too. I tried her suggestions. Doc says don't worry her movement is a good thing but I'm exhausted.

  • Bipolar meds and pregnancy?

I'm 23 and on antidepressents and antipsychotics I was wondering if anyone either knows ok meds to be on while pregnant or what they have used during pregnancy. I'm not pregnant yet but my husband and I would like to start a family. I could use a little help finding some info out. I have had a very hard time finding info on this subject. I guess a lot of people expect people with bipolar not to have children. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
