  • Free Xbox 360?

    Are there any websites around that will ship a free xbox 360 to Ireland. I have seen some that will ship to the US if you complete offers and refer people, but none for Ireland. Also is there any way of getting around the offers, as I don't fancy paying money or giving my credit card details to dodgy companies.

  • AVI problems?

    All the AVi movies that use to work now have no picture. I have downloaded VLC and DivX players but it's still the same. I need a simple step by step guide to help me. The movie files are all perfect.

  • Dr. Strangelove?

    I recently saw the movie and thought it was brilliant. A few things I didn't understand though:

    1) Who told the planes to bomb Russia in the first place?

    2)Why is the movie named after Dr. Strangelove, he doesn't play that big a part.

    3)Is there any reason for his hand having a mind of it's own, or is it just for comedic value.

    4)What is the meaning of the final line,"Mein Fuhrer, I can walk". Help would be much appreciated.

  • For Those who Know their Movies?

    I need help finding out the name of two movies. I saw parts of them on TV and was wondering if anyone could give me the titles from the descriptions below.

    1 The first movie is set in the US civil war. It is about an officer who is given charge of a group of black soldiers. He teaches them how to fight and to prove their worth. In the end of the movie, the soldiers try to capture a fort. They fight up a hill towards it but when they reach the top they are confronted by cannons and killed. The movie ends by saying that the fort was never taken. This was probably a TV movie.

    2 This movie starts out with a family on a road trip travelling through a desert. The family's car comes across another car driven by a young man. the two cars then play a game of chicken. The family's car then flips over and blows up with the driver still inside. The man in the other car then goes to and old country house to meet his friends. One is a rainman-like character. One of them then gets shot.
