Getting lightheaded and heart feels contracted/heavy?
I've been having these moments where I get lightheaded and my heart starts to feel heavy like I'm about to have a heart attack or something. A few times it's gotten to the point where I've almost felt like passing out. It sounds weird, but usually once it starts to pass I start burping a lot, if that's at all relevant lol.
I thought it might have been a dehydration thing since I've had problems with that in the past, but I don't know. Sometimes it happens after drinking coffee or some sort of caffeinated drink. But today I've made sure to drink a lot of water (5 large glasses in the past 7ish hours) and I'm still feeling it slightly right now.
Is this really just dehydration? Or should I go see a doctor?
4 AnswersOther - Health9 years agoDo naps sometimes have strange effects on you, and if so why do you think that is?
Just wondering if I'm alone here. Sometimes I'll wake up from a short nap and feel fine, maybe even a bit better than before. But it seems like once I reach that one hour mark I wake up utterly confused and unaware of what's going on, wondering if I'm a duck or something.
Do you think it might have something to do with waking up from a deeper sleep/nap? And if so why doesn't it usually happen on nights where I've only gotten a few hours of sleep? And do you ever experience something similar?
But most importantly: what would it feel like to wake up as a duck?
