  • Getting Over Fear of Heights/Going Upside-Down?

Senior class going to a theme park mid-May, and I'm terrified of heights and going upside-down. I had motion sickness bad when I was younger, but I can just take Dramamine for that and tough it out. However, I get unnaturally afraid of heights and going/being upside-down. It's just scary. I don't want to bum my group out, so I would like to be able to get over this fear. Tips?

  • Linking Bank Account to PayPal as a Minor?

    Okay, so here's my situation:

    1. I'm 16, almost 17, and have a debit card (the kind you buy at a dollar store and register online, parent signed off on it as well, but nonetheless a legitimate debit card with my name on it).

    2. I have a savings account, set up jointly with a parent

    3. I made a PayPal account and verified my card, they have yet to ask for my age

My question is, since a parent signed off on both my debit card and bank account, is it okay for me to go ahead and verify my bank account with PayPal? She's listed as well and is an adult, so I don't really see the problem. From what I've seen, most people say that nothing ever happens and they don't ever check for your age.

    Thanks, everyone!

  • Strengthening my internet connection for gaming.?

I've been looking at something called a ZyXEL Powerline Wall-Plug Adapter. It sounds like I could plug this into the wall, hook it up to my PS3 using an ethernet cable, and connect the adapter to my router wirelessly. It seems like it will strengthen my connection, but I'm wondering if I'll need anything else aside from the adapter and an ethernet cable. Any tech advice would be much appreciated.

    Thank you!!!

  • Why is the UFC adopting five-round non-title-fights?

This seemed to come out of nowhere, as I saw no articles about it anywhere, even on UFC's own website, nor did I hear anything about it in any of the recent press conferences. Where did this come from all of a sudden and which fights will they do this for? My guess is that the UFC will only make the headliners five rounds?

  • Getting Started in the Star Wars Universe?

So, I've seen all of the Star Wars movies at least five times apiece. Enough to thoroughly understand what's going on. But, I love the series too much to just leave it at that. I want to start reading the books, possibly the comics. And, eventually, maybe play some of the video games (KOTOR, Republic Commando, etc.). Right now, I'm reading 'The Old Republic: Deceived' by Paul S. Kemp. Basically, what I want to know is if this is a good place to start. Why or why not?

  • Do You Think Keisuke Honda will be in the 2014 World Cup?

I rooted for Japan last time around, and was disappointed when they were knocked out (though I saw it coming). Keisuke Honda is a great soccer player, and I hope he will return to the team in 2014. My question is: Has there been any word on whether he is expected to return or not? He's fairly young, so I would think that he would, but I'm just not sure.

  • Random Computer Problem?

Okay, so this has just started happening recently, and I don't know why. Lately, when I left click on a regular link, not a download link, a 'save target as' screen will pop up. You know what I mean, right? The weird thing is, it doesn't always happen all of the time. It's enough to be a major annoyance, though. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do I fix it???

    Thank you,

    Mark

  • Odd Pressure in my Ear?

Okay, so the other day, I notice that there was an odd pressure coming from the inside of my left ear. It is especially noticeable when I press my tongue against my bottom right teeth. Why this is, I have no clue. The pressure isn't painful or anything, but I want to make sure that nothing is wrong and what I could do to possibly make this go away.

  • One Piece Arabasta arc question?

Okay, so in the Arabasta arc of One Piece, what the heck happened to Ace? I didn't watch the filler episodes, so that may be why I don't know. They never explain or talk about what happened to him, and I'm wondering where he went...

  • What is the balloon that police use for "catching" people trying to commit suicide called?

OK, I saw this balloon thing in one of the Lethal Weapon movies. It was a part at the beginning of the movie where a guy was gonna jump out of a building to commit suicide. After distracting the guy trying to kill himself for a while, Mel Gibson's character throws himself and the other dude of the building. They land safely in the balloon thingy and all is well. What are the balloon things called, though? I thought to myself after watching this scene on TV that you could do a lot of cool stuff w/ one of those things. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

    Thanks for the help!

  • For Fans of Japanese TV?

OK, so I just got finished watching "1 Litre of Tears" and thought it was great. Yeah, it's not like the usual action packed bloody shows that I usually watch, but hey, everyone likes a little bit of variety now and then, right? Now, however, I'm not sure what to watch next. Any recommendations?

  • Anime Recommendations?

OK, about 5 days ago, a friend of mine recommended the anime mini-series, School Days to me. It was only twelve episodes long, so I finished it very quickly, despite how incredibly gruesome the last episode was...Anyways, I did like the series and thought it was very well thought out, though it was repetitive for the first five or so episodes. Now I'm looking for a new anime series to watch in my spare time. Other animes that I enjoy watching are:

    Bleach

    Shin Chan

Gundam Wing (because you can't go wrong with giant robots from the 90's)

    Death Note

As you can probably see, School Days was the first anime of its kind that I watched, but I am looking to branch out into more realistic animes, though I do enjoy mystery and suspense. Is there anything like that that anyone could recommend to me? I'd be very appreciative.

    Thank you!
