How is my neighbor's dream able to tell me about my childhood friend? Is it possible?
A neighbor of mine told me one night that he'd had a dream about a childhood friend of mine. They've both never met, but Neighbor was able to give me an accurate description of Friend --and even an accurate location. I'd only mentioned Friend in passing, a bare-bones description of his hairstyle and nationality. So, how was my neighbor able to describe him so well, having never met him or seeing a photo, and tell me his location.
I'm interested in your thoughts and interpretations. My neighbor and I both feel like we've gone crazy.
3 AnswersDream Interpretation9 years agoChild Custody Laws in Australia?
I recently caught up with a friend (born and bred Australian) who told me he was divorced and in a custody battle for the children from the union. I live in the US, and he told me he cannot leave the country as he'd be charged with kidnapping. Is this information true? If so, is there any hope that (once the courts have made the final decision about the little ones) that he could possibly move elsewhere (the US or somewhere else outside Australia) with (joint or full custody, for example) or without them and move on with his life?
Thank you all for an information and insight you may be able to provide. It is greatly appreciated.
6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoWhat sort of jobs are available to English majors?
I'm an English major with an emphasis in writing and have taken quite a lot of p*** for it because people often tell me that there are no jobs/careers out their for us writers. Is there any truth to that? Is this sort of degree truly a waste of time? Should I have rethought my course of study long ago?
Any thoughts, opinions, or advice?
4 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoDebating Dropping Out of University?
I'm seeking some advice. I've recently thought of dropping out of Uni because I've got excess units, which means that I'll be charged double until I can get the courses I need (may take another year). I can take out more loans, but I've already got $5 000 worth to pay off and another years worth would leave me close to $20 000 in debt (presumably with interest added). Should I leave and cut my losses now or take out the loans and not eat for two years to pay them back?
Thanks to everyone for your help.
