I'm 16 years old and the left side of my face has been twitching uncontrollably for the past month or two. It used to be rare, but now it happens every day. It's usually just in my left eye, but sometimes it is in my cheek or upper lip. At first I thought that it could be a potassium or magnesium deficiancy, but that wouldn't explain why only one side twitches. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

At my school, which is a public high school in California, if a girl gets pregnant and decides to have the baby, she won't be allowed to go to school there anymore. She either has to find a new school, or gets transferred to another public school in the next city over. I personally don't think this is fair, but is it even legal?

I've seemed to notice that generally speaking, anti-pit bull advocates have never owned a pit. But if you ask pit bull owners, they usually seem to think of their pit as the greatest dog in the world? Are there any previous pit owners or current pit owners who agree with any of the stereotypes of the pit bull? (ex. they just "snap", the can't control themselves, etc.) Or are people who don't like pit bulls just ignorant?

Ever since I was a little girl, I've had dreams about corpses if I'm stressed or feverish. I'm 16 now and I can remember these dreams back to when I was about 4 years old. Some of the most recent have been that there was a corpse next to me in my bed, one in a kind of sorcerer/wizard outfit and one nailed to my ceiling by it's tongue.

so my friend and I are 15 and 17 year old girls, but it's tough finding a Halloween costume that doesn't make a girl look like a hooker. Any ideas? Store bought or homemade, either would be great.

Now, I'm not asking your opinion, nor am I pregnant. I just want to know the very earliest it can happen. I'd like to have my facts straight due to a discussion I had with some friends earlier today.

I guess we're most known for surfing. It's just awesome for a super white, superhero loving, novel reading, piano playing, antisocial, practically heliophobic teenager like me. ya!

My little brother and sister are 11 and 10 years old and are in the fifth grade at a Catholic school. I am 15 and went to Catholic school for 7 years. I left when I was 12 to go to the local public school because I was just done with the rules and the teachers and the uniforms and the cliques. Now my little siblings want to do the same and start their 6th grade year at public school. I can honestly say that in my short life, three of the very best teachers I've ever come across were teaching at this school. It's a very good school in a good part of a Southern California beach town. My dad doesn't seem to have an issue with this, he just wants them to be happy. But my mom is differant, she is very against the idea. She claims that they're fine where they are and it's better at Catholic school because they require classes like typing, art, music, and spanish to be taken.

I know it's not my place, but I feel like my brother and sister are old enough to decide what kind of classes they're interested in and take them every day rather than being forced to take all of them once a week.

Where do you guys stand on this one?

I'm fifteen years old and never really done too much make up before. Nothing more than mascara and a light lipstick for a special occasion.

So basically, I don't really know what kind of make-up would compliment me best. I don't want to just cake it on and have spider lashes from so much mascara like most teenagers. I just want to compliment what I do have.

I have an oval shaped face and pale skin, full lips, brown eyes and kind of abnormally large cheeks.

So do you have any ideas of what kind of make-up would be the most flattering?

I keep having a dream or more like just a scene really, just a scene of a bunch of kids like, young teenager types maybe 12-16 years old, two groups of them facing each other, about 30 kids in each group. One group is wearing Catholic school uniforms (plaid pleated skirts, navy blue shorts, white collared shirts, dress shoes and white socks) and the other group is in sort of edgier clothes, (skinny jeans of all colors, band tee's, converse, volcom, vans, etc) a major clashing of bright colors and black on this group, the kids aren't emo or goth or anything, just skaterish maybe. The two groups are facing each other in a parking lot in front of a Catholic school. And there's no violence, more like a merge about to happen, the Catholic school kids look nervous and shy, the other kids look sort of amused. Like I said, it's more like a merge is about to happen rather than a fight.

I did used to go to catholic school, and now I go to public school, but Idk what this dream is supposed to mean. I don't miss Catholic school at all.

i've had my period for almost 2 years and it's still not quite regular. It was for a while or it was getting there like, 1 in 3 months, 1 in 2 months, 1 in 1.5 months, but not it's been 2 months again and I don't have it. I had a sort of weird red/dark brown discharge, but not alot, and not like regular blood, for about 5 days. I have lost weight recently and started high school, so I'm kinda stressed. I'm 15 and 108 lbs and 5 foot 4 inches, I was 130 lbs a year ago.

I know I should probably consult a doctor, I'm not asking so that you can tell me that.

But anyway, I've always had uncontrollable twitching/jerking of my head, eyelids and trembleing of my fingers (and entire body if I don't eat after a few hours) but lately it's been happening a lot more often, like several times a day. Especially the head jerking. It just kind of jerks to the side randomly and I shudder and it's embarresing. Anybody know if these are symptoms of anything serious? I guess just FYI, I'm 15, 5'4, roughly 108 lbs, black out due to low blood suger on occasion, have minor scoliosis, but I don't really know if any of that is relevent to what's happening to me.

I have a large shepherd sort of dog, 2 years old, maybe 65-80 lbs, I don't know exactly how much. He's technically my 11 year old brothers dog, but nobody care enough about the dog to take care of him but me. I'm 15 years old, 5 foot 4' and somewhere between 105 to 110 lbs and I can't physically handle walking the dog, he's too strong and not trained well, and aggressive towards other dogs. So when I walk him, he goes nuts barking and pulling and yelping every time he sees another dog. He was trained so well for a while, thats why I'm so exasperated, but he tore some ligaments and pulled a tendon during the period that I was training him and had to be put on sedatives and muscle relaxers and go without walks for a few weeks, and since then it's been awful. Every time I walk him I come back with blisters on my hands from the leash rubbing. So any tips on how I can retrain him so I won't get hurt, he won't get hurt, and I can take him back out into public again?

I mean, is there a specific definition? Lets say that a child started pre-school at two years, because she knew her alphebet and shapes and such. lets say that at three the child was reading on her own and at four she's picking out tunes from TV or that she's heard someone else play on the piano. Gifted or just bright or same thing?

I'm near the beach in SoCal, and I just hear the trippiest noise, who else heard it?

Blacked out, shaking, clamminess, what is it?

Yesterday, in P.E. I had run a little bit, probably like, a quarter mile, not much at all, and had been working out really easy on the eliptical, only for like 2 minutes and real real easy. I sarted feeling a little bit nauseous and it felt like the work out room had gotten really hot. After being on the eliptical for no more than 2 or 3 minutes, I suddenly felt awful and nauseous and lightheaded. I went to tell the teacher I needed to see the nurse, and when she took me outside, my vision and hearing were gone and I sort of blacked out. I was shaking real bad and was clammy and sweating, it was only about 75 degrees outside, if even that. I couldn't walk, i was too dizzy and they wheeled me over to the nurses office and gave me some juice and crackers and i totally bounced back and was fine. I had eaten breakfast maybe 3 hours before this all happened. My aunt thinks I'm hypoglycimic, my teacher thinks I'm diabetic and my mom thinks I'm lying about eating and anorexic. Low blood pressure and Type 1 diabetis do run in the family. What do you guys think?
