Hey everyone,
I'm looking at learning a new martial art new my house. I have some experience in BJJ, but I was driving far and hated where I was going. I have a place within walking distance that teaches CKD under like, the Kinect banner and thent here is a Karate dojo near by too.
I was looking at CKD because it seems pretty gentle so I won't rack up as many injuries as I had during my jujitsu time. Karate seems need, its Shinto-Ryu, but I'm kinda lazy and my memory sucks so I was afraid I'd have trouble remembering all the kata.
Lookin' for help guys.
2 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoWill CarMax buy a modified car?
I want to trade my modified Mustang in towards the purchase of a Jeep. It is a 2000 GT with a cowl hood, intake, lowered suspension, mid-pipe and catback exhaust. So, it is a bit extensive but nothing like strong. Will Carmax buy a modified car, or will they turn me away? Thank you
3 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoIs Kung fu hard to learn? Northern Praying Mantis?
My friend and I are avid martial arts enthusiasts, and we wish to take Kung Fu classes. There is a school near by that teaches Northern Praying Mantis, and I am wondering how hard it is. I understand any great art like that takes years to master, but I mean in general. I am pretty uncoordinated, and I'm so afraid of straight up embarrassing myself. I use to take Jujitsu, so I have a slight background in martial arts and I know what its like to not get a technique for awhile, so I'm wondering how difficult kung fu. I am dedicated to the cause, I'm just a nervous guy.
